I love the interview when someone asks “Who shot first, Han or Greedo?” And he answered, “I… don’t care.” Absolutely brilliant.
"Are you excited for a Han Solo movie?"
"No."
Most han solo answer
Sounds like when he was asked about a Force ghost and his answer was: “I have no idea what a Force ghost is, and I don’t care” 😂
He’s just so straightforward like he’s not about the Hollywood fakery. He’s one of the realest celebrities out there.
The way he lights up when answering about Ke Huy Quan is the best moment in this, as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah I definitely noticed him light up
Yeah you can tell he loves that guy. I'm sure he's still sees that little kid in his mind. They must have been real close all those years ago.
You missed the dirty jokes part?
@@sjaool nope! That’s the second favorite part… 😃
There's a guy who would really just rather be left alone at this point. He's earned it.
TRUE. Famous people value their privacy even more than us CZcamsrs. But, the most private people are not up there on the screen:
They are the people who are looking up at the screen. They live and die, only known to friends and family.
If that's the case, he should probably stop making films, surely?
I would love for him to go away and let us enjoy his legacy. But he's the one who keeps coming back and diluting it.
@@danielasuncion9991 "us CZcamsrs" 😂
Then he should just go away already.
I like how much more at ease he's become in interviews in the recent years
More like he likes being interviewed for things he's passionate about like Indiana Jones or Blade Runner
When you're 80 something years old, you won't care either. He probably realizes life is too short to be such a grumpy grouch.
@@joevictor53 Yeah. He comes alive, and always had come alive, when he's asked about stuff that he genuinely has a passion for. Playing Indiana Jones, for example, he's always said he loves. He really enjoys that character a lot because Indy is a smart and capable guy who has a lot going on inside. He never liked Han Solo as a character specifically because it's all surface level stuff. Han Solo is nothing but an attitude, there's not a lot of substance there, and as such Harrison has always seemed kind of miserable having to talk about the character and Star Wars because he's just not very engaged by the entire subject and he's, ironically given that he's an actor, he's very bad at pretending to care.
@@joevictor53 did you see his interviews round the force awakens time? They were great and he looked like he was having so much fun
@@MatsThyWit Exactly, like there's even a difference when it's talking about behind the scenes stuff for star wars. Like his relationships with Mark and Carrie for example. Like as long as it's kept to that and not some really obscure lore question or that dude recently who asked him "Who would win in a fight han or indy?" he'd more than likely be happy to answer
I love how he casually solves this huge internet debate about Deckard being a replicant or not
Right? Like it’s nothing haha
@@antoniopicon6724 It's logically incorrect. Because of several issues he must be human in the movie. Just as the original author insisted and just as Harrison Ford himself had said for decades.
@@tryscience alright bro
@@tryscience the fact many think it doesn’t work changes nothing. Now we have the director and the actual actor that played him saying he was a replicant.
@@chrisfroman8018 The same people could call the sky polka dotted. That doesn't make it so
i feel like he’s the last of the old film stars. does what he does and isn’t too fussed about it.
You must not know much about film if you think Harrison Ford is the "last" of the "old film stars."
@@28Pluto he's probably the last one still working and starring in huge movies
@@nick4810 Never heard of Clint Eastwood, huh?
@@ShadowAngel-lt8nw he's been in two films (i've never heard of) in the last decade. Ford has been in Star Wars, Blade Runner & Indiana Jones. Different levels.
@@nick4810 The only difference is that Eastwood never sold out to the woketards like Ford did. So he will always be better.
What a life….! Roadie for The Doors in the sixties, all the way through to playing Indy at 80 in 2023. That’s hard to beat.
I was surprised to hear the Doors thing. Had no idea.
Honestly there were questions in there like "who has the best cooking skills on a desert island" that I thought he would give the typical "I don't care" answer but he played along. Objectively I don't think he's really suited to these modern-style interviews but he's such a lovable childhood icon I don't care.
I wonder if he appreciated the curve ball stuff, like the cooking thing? Something he hasn’t answered a hundred times during this press tour.
“George lives on hamburgers and french fries” 😂
It shows
It's not the years, it's the mileage.
That might be the most I've ever seen him enjoy himself doing something like this.
Just don’t ask him anything Star Wars or dumb and he’ll be happy
Incredible for being 80 years old man. I will continue to live a healthy life and stay in shape to live as long as possible and be like him. Inspirational
This whole Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny publicity tour has been a fantastic excuse/reason for Harrison Ford to look back at his whole career and make even more memorable moments.
Straight legend of movie making. An icon. We don’t have many of those left alive.
So uplifting, you are
True. A lot of them are passing away. I had this talk with a friend about how a lot of actors and actresses we grew up watching will not be around anymore
Harrison Ford really aged like fine wine, and his attitude in real life and in the movies is as prevalent as ever, period!
He's a king for a reason.
YUP :)
That wonderful horse from INDY III was the same horse Stallone road in RAMBO III.
He is a No BS kinda guy! And thats why I will always love and respect the man.
Love it - go Harrison! "I did not inhale" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lets be serious here. Jim Morrison passes you a joint everyone inhales.
Definitely gonna appreciate Harrison Ford more especially since he’s getting up there in age
1980s Harrison Ford was one handsome dude.
He wasn't.
He still is, for his age.
@@michaelkrolewski7406he was at his peak
The legend of all legends. The icon of all icons.
Yeah I have a feeling this guy is gonna be a real star.
I love how charismatic he is on screen and how incredibly dull he is in these interviews. Every interview I’ve ever seen him in I’ve regretted watching, this one was not an exception.
I would never think ford was 80 i woukd say late 60's through 70's he has aged very well
he was nearly in his 40's when he became famous. Not everybody has the luck in Hollywood when young, or strong connections, like Scarlett Johanson, Tom Cruise, Tom hanks, Leonardo Di Caprio, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Will Smith...
You also have guys like Harrisson Ford, Morgan Freeman, Samuel Jackson, Chritoph Waltz, Alan Rickman, Melissa McCarthy...
Fr thought he was like 70 he could pass for in his 60s
Harrison Ford the legend, one of my all time favorite actors, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was an amazing adventure, Thank you for making my childhood special with your amazing movies 🤠👏👏👏 Excited to watch him make his Marvel debut with Captain America New World Order next year as General Ross 🙌
The smart sarcasm for every silly question makes the interview worthwhile. The picture of Ke Huy Quan and Harrison hugging after so many years is priceless 🤠
2:49 I once rode the horse that John Rhys-Davies rode in this film (and this scene). Its name was Red.
That de-aged Indy looks like footage used from Force Ten From Navarone..
Try Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I just watched the film again and he was that age at the time and he even wore that type of German military uniform ( there's a scene in the movie where he turn's with the journal that his father sent him and a famous historical figure grabs it and signs it if you recall, minus the hat).
He's so funny, that dry humour
So nice to see him happy like this
This is the best interview i've seen with harrison..legend and yup he confitrmed that deckard is a replicant.
Well, glad I was 13 when I saw Temple of Doom when it came out. My friend I went with was only 12 though.
I never realized how soft spoken he was.
what a legend, great energy, love him
Un actor que mos hixo pasar momentos inolvidables, una leyenda que podemos seguir disfrutando de él, un actor que supo gansrse el respeto de todo el mundo, ese es Harrison Ford
This is the first time I heard Ford say that Deckard was a replicant! 😲
Casually revealing the decades long mystery if Deckard was a replicant or not
What a legend!!!!!
@Esquire
Wrong clip at 4:08. That's from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Harrison has chilled a lot.
Look at his old interviews, he's more often than not a bit of a goofball
This man is an example of masculinity.
Indy was my childhood crush so I am over the moon we'll be seeing him again!
What an absolute legend!
They labelled the peice of footage from Crystal Skull as bring Dial of Destiny footage.
"Carrie was a lot of fun too". I bet it was.
Pretty cool!
I saw Temple of Doom when I was 11. It wasn't that bad. However, I did know the heart thing was coming because my older brother's friend had already seen it. I covered my eyes.
4:45 “show me the money!”
4:08 that scene is from Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull not Dial Of Destiny (unless this is shown as a flashback in DoD???).
CGI de-aging in Dial was really well done!
Happy Birthday, Harrison. You're the best. Love You Always. ❤️
Really liked the movie and Ford seems to be a great guy. Amazing how many like to bash this movie and exclaim it a failure. Have they seen it?
Should have asked him about that one time he punched Jack Lemmon in the face lol
My first and only man crush..
Well
Him and Hank Moody 🙂
“I take my work seriously” shots fired
Best Harrison Ford role: "Witness"
Dial of Destiny is a friggin’ MASTERPIECE. end of story. get it?
I love him.
5:13
Legenda nya film Indiana Jones...aku suka filmnya dari seri 1 sampai episode kemarin 29 Juni 23
Getting old... But still a LEGEND
Legends aren't defined age..
This dood!!!
Mate, you are ono most the interesting person on earth :)
“I didn’t inhale” 😂
Can't wait for dial of destiny
Me too I can't wait NOT to watch it since it's horrid
Could you imagine if his answers and stories weren’t short? You’d be there all day long.
They should have allowed some of this easygoing happiness to show through in Indiana Jones in the new movie. Indiana Jones being miserable for 2 and a half hours was certainly a take.
I love Harrison Ford because he just doesn't care lol!
Bob Falfa “ I ain’t nobody, dork” 😂😂😂
He’s lovely
Lauren! Did you shoot this video?👀
Very handsome man Harrison Ford and fantastic film Star Wars 1977.
a mans man in a crazy world
Harrison Ford doing Marvel is a great idea
I don't think so. I hate the idea of Marvel engulfing every living actor, taking over hollywood and the movie theaters of the world.
What age did he go... you know I don't have two eff's to give. I hope to get there someday.
just saw the movie yesterday.... couldn't wait till it was over. Longest 2 - 1/2 hrs I"ve spent in the threatre. Yikes... it was bad. I hate seeing stunt animals in movies also....too many of them get injured.
1:01
4:12 But Phoebe Is the actress of the show?
In her own mind.
No BS, just great acting
I thought the deaging looked amazing! Such a great film!
Box office numbers says otherwise. You could hear a pin drop at most theaters on opening weekend.
@@fred6907that doesn’t mean the de aging was bad it just means it’s new and has only been out for a month in a year or 2 the ratings are obviously gonna go up you’re just oblivious to the fact
@@arrantratrandom2483 I'm talking about how much money the movie makes, not rating. It lost a fortune.
❤❤❤
Wait, he’s in the MCU now?? What title(s)?
He’s gonna be in the next Captain America. He’ll he playing Thunderbolt Ross, the previous actor passed away. So Harrison is taking over the role.
Dial of Destiny is a masterpiece.
See it now!
I wish there was a way I could bypass Disney and find a way to just pay this guy for the work he's done recently.
LOL i love him
Im sure Carrie was alot of fun dr jones
I have absolutely no problem with de-aging.
4:27 Since when was Han Solo in The Rise of Skywalker?
Whoever worked the sound for this esquire video... you are not getting any awards.
If the real reason he joined marvel isn't MONEY I'm gonna be very disappointed
I wouldn't have thought that he needs to anything for the money anymore
That was great. Somebody wake him up.
Joe Pera’s grandpa
Indiana Jones 5 would be so much better with Ke as Short Round. Change my mind.
He definitely inhaled.
He's old and probably tired from all the travelling. He was at Cannes for Indy 5 and then did some press for it in other places.
International travel is tiring for people even in their 30s so I think he's doing pretty well.
Harrison Ford was my favorite actor before he became everyone else’s favorite actor
missed opportunity to have them reunited.
young Ford looks a lot like bradley cooper
Harrison Ford talking about these epic films and experience Cool
Many reviews are mentioning that the de-aging looks bad and that Indy’s eyes are dead. It’s hilarious that they are still trying to draw attention to this mediocrity. 😂
He's past time and that beautiful. Don't spoil it.
I wish they had brought back Sam Elliott to play Ross again.
Would have been a great decision. Especially with all the multiverse shenanigans going on. Im curious to see how Ford does. At the end of the day im not upset to see him anywhere.
