I love how the visuals are just straight up 3D HD remakes of the Game Boy Color sprites, it manages to strike a nice balance between looking nostalgic and brand new all at once.
You don't see -a whole lot- any of that in remakes these days.

I can't remember the last time I cried or had tears form naturally. Hearing that ending with Marin sing ballad of the windfish felt like I got the wind knocked out of me. My eyes were filled with tears without warning. It was like a sharp punch in the gut and a slap in the back of the head, but without pain nor negative feeling. I've only ever felt tears of sorrow, then nothingness for several years. If this is what tears of happiness feel like, I wish to feel this again.
I hope they will remake Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons in the same way as this turned out.

That's a good way to sum it up. This Zelda game looks way, WAY different from the others, especially due to it's different art style.....more so different than Wind Waker's art style. But I can't wait for this game to come out. It looks.....interesting.

Also the small part at the end when Marin hummed ballad of the wind fish sent chills down my spine.
That humming of "Ballad of the Wind Fish" by Marin at the end of the video... :') Got me tearing up. Such an emotional game... I'm happy about this remake even though I won't be able to play it, and I love how they recreated the world very accurately, 100% respecting every tile, but I think I still prefer the 2D style of the original (in color with DX). Still, it's so awesome that many more will get to experience the game and its special concept!

I was so disappointed about no Metroid Prime Trilogy but then I saw Link's boat from Link's Awakening and it was HYPE
It still really, really hurts to see nothing Metroid related whatsoever, but this healed the wound a bit. The game looks super gorgeous, I love it. But still, I really need that Prime Trilogy on the Switch. I think people don't understand how *much* I need it. :(
This and Maker 2 were a part of a leak that also said Pikmin 3 and MP Trilogy were coming so get hype bois.
My guess is that they are saving prime trilogy for their e3 direct and then will release it right after e3 so they have 3-4 months to fine tune everything they need to.

I CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAME
I'm going to share my embarassing story about this game: I played it when I was 7 or 8 years old, and got stuck near the beginning and didn't know how to proceed. I saw that you could buy a bow in the first shop for 999 rupees, so I thought you needed that to progress, so I went to the beach and farmed octoroks until I had 999 rupees. I was so happy and bought the bow. Then I didn't know what to do with it so I gave up and didn't play the game for a few years. Pro tip: You do NOT need to farm 999 rupees to get to the first dungeon!
I actually never finished the game as a kid. I got stuck trying to find my way through Level 6.
Haha that's good! My embarrassing story is I played the whole Golden Sun game without knowing you could hold B to run... So I got stuck at the last lighthouse because I couldn't get past the sandfall, then finally read a guide at the bookstore where it said you have to "run" across with B...
Actually, I'm still stuck at the beginning. After a few tries I just gave up, really. Hope this one will be a little bit more clear on how to proceed.
Pro tip, just steal it. Pick up the bow, run around the shop keeper 10 times then you can run out the shop (sometimes it fails and he just asks you not to steal the bow). When you get away with it you get a guilt message. Just walk back in the shop, he will kill you but you keep the bow. Next life you are friends again and you have a nice new bow for free :-)
Ahaha, a similar thing happened to me when i played phantom hourglass for the first time, i got stuck after like 5% of the game, i still enjoyed sailing around and stuff tho lmao

I started crying when I knew about the remake. The first time I saw this video, my eyes were too blurred because of the tears of joy.
This game is tge only one that hits me deep enough to cry non stop.
