The beta is not really representative of the actual game though. This is not a sports game. It’s a JRPG with a Football theme. Think of Pokémon where you go around recruiting players and building your team and battling other players by playing football matches with them. If it’s like the other games in the series, the story mode will be the main full featured mode of play.
I did not know that! I've just been having a blast with it online. Excited for the release, hopefully the fans like what they see
@@SwitchCorner Yeah, the DS and 3DS games were great and played very much like the Pokémon games of that era. The story and characters were all very anime inspired and there was even full anime cut scenes throughout. Hoping this new one doesn’t stray too much from the original formula. Finding and recruiting all the legendary players and building up the ultimate team was always super fun. Kinda reminded me of doing the same with the blitzball mini game in FFX.
You are basicaly right, but this demo does represent the core off the game, but very stripped down. The games are the core, the demo gives you a very basic version off team building, item managment and player upgrading. I'd say that the demo gives you a very basic understanding and can determine if you will like the full game or not. But if you do like it, just as you said, the full game will have waaaaaay more stuff that you mentioned and even more on top off that

Btw the anime parts in the story mode will be done by mappa so banger even if u just like cool animation
Thanks for playing the beta and covering it, I hope you play it again when the beta adds chapter one of the story mode in a month also just so you know there is actually a third team you can buy in the shop with items gained from playing online and you can actually mix and match the 3 teams in every mode except lobby mode(which is the one you played the most) using the move players in team dock feature
The offside rule is in the game but it only gives a boost to tension this was done because it was too easy to accidentally go offside while in the zone and to help with match times
In previous inazuma eleven games offside resulted in a throw-in
Good to know, as I say, seems folks are finding it a little unusual I'd never heard of it, but yeah it hasn't crossed my paths. I'll cover chapter 1, I'm really enjoying what I'm playing here, and yeah I'm starting to get into the player transfers side of things next. I want to see what the story mode has though now

3:45 technically, there's a third team called Alius Masters which consists of villain players from the second game/second season of the anime
The issue i have with the demo gameplay is the breach mechanic. Sometimes my enemy makes a chain shot with good power. I try everything to stop it like using a tactic to increase my def, use special moves from my defenders to weaken the shot, use a keeper special too. My stat is way way higher, but suddenly the shot just breaches and deletes my whole keeper gage like everything i did just didnt matter. Its funny if it happens for you sometimes, but i happily would give that up, to make the amount off this kind of rng smaller

Yeah I'm not sure what happened, I don't know if they decided to control the keeper and just run out, but I'm all for it, goals a goal lol

I’m definitely interested to hear what you think of the show and if you like this game and the show I’d highly recommend getting into the older games if your willing to check them out
I'm a big fan of the games on the DS and 3DS but this seems like a completely different game to me, I've played a few games against the bots but I have absolutely no idea how to raise my attack power to actually score against the keeper, I've tried passing in "the zone" but I can't seem to get above 100ish attack power and the tutorials aren't much help at all
Pass to build tension, then chain attacks together.
Chain shots are the way, but think of keeper power as a combination of the stun guage and a health bar so a lot of small shots can actually be relatively more effective because unlike the stun gauge it can't go back up not even between halfs
I actually do like the Tension system over the Technical Points system that the DS / 3DS games have to be fair.
What is the best cheap soccer game for switch? Also hockey, football and baseball.
It really depends on the level of realism you are looking for! Football if you want realistic, it's a copy and paste each year but grab any fifa from the last 5 years, they just updated squads, it's outdated though, baseball, MLB or my personal favorite, super mega baseball, hockey we are limited

Yeah inazuma eleven has been influenced a lot by captain tsubasa but it's also really grown into its own since the first game on the ds give it a try, the beta's free
Reminds me of the Tsubasa game. Actually found that interesting for a few hours, but then it lacked depth and did not get me to return to it.
The tsubasa game or victory road beta? Because I'm quite enjoying victory road right now myself(still in the honeymoon phase though if I'm being fully honest)
The names for special shots and passes are amazing and my be worth the purchase alone

It is a JRPG, but the beta doesn’t include the main story mode yet. Look up other titles in the series and you’ll get a better understanding of what the full game will be.
In addition this game is also adding turn based combat to the inazuma eleven series so curious to see how that turns out
This is already doing better than the latest Mario Strikers which was a major letdown because it was still unfinished and that's a shame as I had enjoyed the last two games with Charged as the best of the trilogy of those games.
Atleast I have Inazuma Eleven Victory Road to look forward to because I intend to get it when I can as I'm already a fan of the previous games especially when there's the fun factor involved and you can already tell.

I was having a hard time listening to your review and the gameplay. Sounds like it needs more patches after release. Manga and Anime is a plus.

It's almost unknown in NA if he's from the US or Canada he likely will have never heard of it(there's only like three English speaking inazuma tubers and all of them are from the U.K.

US only got a 3DS port of the first Inazuma game in 2015. Anime never aired on US TV until Ares and it did terrible.

Idk I felt the gameplay a bit too much. Too many mechanics, too many buttons to push at one time to make things work, too many parameters to keep an eye on that define gameplay... Hopefully when we have control of the characters and their growth it will feel more natural and balanced
It is a lot at first, but if you get used to it, the bots actualy start becomming too easy. And you just naturaly use and even somewhat abuse the mechanics. Like if i start a game, i will run into enemy players just to get tension, because winning such an interaction against bots is pretty easy.
It has quite a learning curve that's for sure but once it clicks it can be really fun.
Just take it one step at a time
Looks so shit honestly. Why did they not extend the gameplay we had on the WII. Those games were actually enjoyable to play football. This is just a worse version of a DS game. Shame they went this route because I don't think this will be a success. It looks so very sloppy and football games needs to be faster than this...

Not sure if your mean that it calls soccer football or if you mean you dislike football but here's a reply for both options
The games previously only had the first game release in NA so it uses football instead of soccer in its terminology for sake of consistency
Alot of inazuma eleven fans say they don't actually enjoy football in real life but love the series (although I've also heard some people say that the gameplay changes of victory road loses that appeal so maybe try one of the ds or 3ds games) the beta is free so it might be worth it to check out but if your not sold on football gameplay by itself it might be best to wait for a month when they add chapter 1 of story mode to the beta(it's only missing currently because they want as many people stress testing online as possible)

Good to know, but the game came first, hence the structure of the sentance. Again, I really know very little about this series but this game means I want to get the originals now

it's less so a sports game, and moreso an RTS game with a sports disguise. Also this is only the beta's first phase. There will be a story mode which is way more JRPG with a focus on story and character arcs than the actual sport itself.

From you other comment of only scoring penalties, it sounds like you didn't really get it. Not everything has to click for everyone but the gameplay is solid. It's actually a small part of the gameplay. Been educated on the fact it's an RPG

Bro I don't even know why they produce this. I think the WII Version was very good. They should have continued with that. This is just a worse DS version. It looks so slow and nothing like football. The WII version is still the best one out there. This will never be a success. Logical they waited 5 years after the Orion anime ended. And still it sucks...
