How We Are Going to the Moon - 4K

- While Apollo placed the first steps on the Moon, Artemis opens the door for humanity to sustainably work and live on another world for the first time. Using the lunar surface as a proving ground for living on Mars, this next chapter in exploration will forever establish our presence in the stars. ✨
We are returning to the Moon - to stay - and this is how we are going!

@@maximilianreber9506 I know he has put a lot of capital and energy back into NASA, and while I do think he'll be re-elected, and this project is likely to continue, that doesn't mean we aren't one administration away from it all going back into the closet. It was Bush who pushed for the Orion program and Obama who pulled funding and redirected NASA. What's to say that after Trump's 2nd term a Democrat isn't elected who pulls funding just as we are nearing putting a man on Mars? That's where I feel like this is headed.
The difference this time is the commercial partnerships, SpaceX and Blue Origin especially
@@caseytodd7632 thinking that Trump actually supports any of this is a joke. He's been continuously trying to cut NASA funding since he got into office.
@@SuperSMT I think you're absolutely right, in some regard. I think they will be the steady hand in all of this. Typically, Republican administrations have been more friendly to military and space (save for Kennedy who was still quite conservative). That's why I genuinely believe the first person to step foot on Mars will be from a private company, not NASA.
