Special shoutout to everyone who watched the video to the end 😁🫶… the next one will be next level 🔥
lol sold out already. That's fantastic!
Incredible mate, as a fellow illustrator, absolute respect
Each time you do something “next level” I think that you can’t possible top THAT, but then another video announcement comes… quite a cliffhangers you left us with !😅
You NEED TO SEE OR READ ONE PIECE.
Drew Struzan is one of my favorite Artists and I think he’d say you rocked on this painting of Harrison Ford!!!!
This took me back to watching Raiders of the Lost Ark on VHS in our first family home. Love the nostalgia
Same, I think I still have that VHS tape somewhere. Such good memories
That sounds so comforting 💛
Took me back to being 7 years old and seeing it in the theatre opening night, wow what an experience. Beautiful artwork
"There's a new Indiana Jones movie coming out. I'm not going to watch it because I pretty much dislike everything about it and as far as I'm concerned there are exactly three Indiana Jones movies. " - a man of true culture
I think everyone starts with fanart, but before the internet, they didn't show it as often. You've made a really great point in another video about how stills from movies - you've already got the composition, lighting, and color already set up. I do think it's a great way to copy and learn. How is that different from a master copy? I love how you convey the gold of the idol. Can't wait to see what the new project is!
I love how you captured the moodiness of the scene as well as the spark of excitement and adventure. Oh and your video idea and editing is top notch! Love everything about this video.
Thank you so much! 😊
@@AlpayEfeas a painter my self great work man
This was as captivating as watching Raiders of the Lost Ark as a 13yr old boy in 1981.
Bless you and thank you ❤
Love your choice in movies and watching you paint the characters🔥
You put more character in the painting than was ever extracted in the last two films
Ah I Love it!
hey what's up mikey!
When I think of Indiana Jones I always think of temple of doom when he saves the enslaved kids, when they shine the minecart light on him and he is standing there with the music playing.
I love watching how you bring a painting to life.
It's always been a moment of wonder for me watching artists and craftsmen work and seeing how something that looked simple suddenly becomes more then the sum of its parts. It doesn't matter what the subject, size or material is, not even the technique. It's something else. I suppose it's the balance of all the things expected and unexpected done with a creative confidence. It's inspiring, and AI can't do that.
Thank you, thank you!
You got those under lights so right👌🏽👌🏽
yes. Yes! YES!! YESSSS!!!
I hope you will shine with million of supporter and be with you.
I whole-heartedly agree!!! Fan art is what gets new artists started!
As astounding as Indy looks, I have to pay special tribute to the non-metallic metal painting of the idol - watching the layers build up on old golden bonce was an absolute masterclass in painting shiny yellow things without the shiny paint. Thank you, this is something I shall now study and try to work on 🙂
+1 for ‘golden bonce’
@@bucephalus1635 I win \o/
Fantastic Painting and I can't wait for your next project!
🤗
Absolutely stunning!! The angularity in the lines and shapes on Indie's face give him so much character, it's so striking!!
I don't remember the movies very clearly but i used to have an xbox 360 game that came with the console and i still love it
One of the best movies of the 80’s. You did it justice 😊
I don’t know what’s more impressive, your paintings or your ability to perfectly articulate your thoughts. Great stuff!
Haha, thanks 😅🙏
I really like how you handled the preliminary drawing. The shading and line quality is something I haven’t seen before, especially the accuracy on portraying Harrison Ford. Great work!
Alpay out here giving me something to watch in the morning and helping me get that artist drive. Great stuff.
Enjoy! 🫶
YESSS(whisper shouts)
who needs therapy when you've uploaded?
🙏🫶
That could easily be used as movie poster art. I don't see many modern movie posters with classic style art. Usually they're just some sort of photo-collage nowadays.
Is the wise words of Dr. Jones “Fortune and glory”
Watching you paint is always like witnessing magic happen.
Looking forward to that boss battle!
Loved the editing and teaser at the end (in addition to the always-gorgeous artwork and commentary, of course).
Ooh, I look forward to seeing what's next then!?!
Thank you for touching on fan art. It’s how I started as an artist and when I learned how looked down on it is by artists in general it really turned me off to the art community, I eventually turned my back on art school, pursued something else, and relegated it to a hobby. But it truly is my passion, and it still makes sad sometimes to know that what I love to do, would never be celebrated, and instead entirely dismissed. So thank you for acknowledging the work and love that goes into it.
I've seen many, many instances of fanart that far surpass many officially licensed works produced by professionals.
You nailed it when you said many artists essentially cut their teeth on fanart. I believe my first actual good oil paintings were fanart.
Amazing
This is why I love Alpay Efe's art... in the opening of his monologue he said what all of us that grew thinking Indiana Jones was the greatest adventurer... there are only 3 Indiana Jones' movies worth watching... and NO, we are not interested in watching the new one.
The metallic sheen on the idol and the skin tones on Indy are beautiful . You were channeling your Drew Struzan influence on this one . Fantastic artwork .
*Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ... RULES* ..... !!!!!!!😎
Got that right 🤝
Loved seeing your process. Enjoyed your insights as well. Beautiful work.
Omg I love how cinematic your videos are, you can tell how much you enjoy making every aspect of the video
Absolutely incredible!
I am never not amazed with the talent, knowledge, and the great delivery you manage to display every video. That was made to look so easy you are so good.
Instant thumbs up for "There are only 3 Indiana Jones movies"
its actually pretty good, I think you should watch it. I mean its no 'Crystal Skull' but few movies could live up to that legacy.
Amazing as usual. I'm obsessed with your brushwork 💕
Truly great work. Thank you for share!
Absolutely gorgeous artwork.. ❤
Ooooo nice! do it Spawn! ))
Love the painting!!!
Can't wait for the boss battle!
It’s gonna be epic 🙌
J’adore !
Great piece ! It's now several years I follow your videos and I always find them very inspiring.
"it can take weeks, or even a month." As someone who illustrates and creative directs illustration for movie posters and entertainment advertising, I can say, yes, that timeline is accurate. But, the client will want it in stages, so you will work 3 days at a time 8-12 hours a day. Then wait on feedback and shift gears, repainting and painting new elements. This is the real reason that classic illustrators worked the way they did. Finally, you'll get to the end and the talent will want you to change the face used, so, you'll have to do that all at the 11th hour before the drop dead, pencils down deadline. It's insanely high octane, and my department has been working on ways to maintain the old school traditional processes as we move into an increasingly digital era of art.
Art for the sake of Art, ❤ Love it!
Amazing!
Beautiful style
That looks soooo good
Amazing work.
I liked a lot your thought process when creating a homage to masters of illustration. The only mistake, if I can call it that, was that very dark background.
For epic cover illustrations, just in case, keep the background much lighter, ready to be filled with secondary narrative.
Wonderful as usual!
Oh my god , I just came across this video , and a month ago I drew the exact same scene ! Your painting is absolutely stunning !
No one's doing it like you in the art youtube community. Disappointed that there aren't many but glad you are here.
WOW
Loved the ending!❤
Parabéns, você é um mestre!!!
Ah yes, back when movies were good and characters were likeable. You did Indie justice.
Left me in suspense, always appreciate the message about the journey.
Awesome video ~ Brings back memories ~ Puts a big smile on my face ❤
Great work!
Mind blowing!!!!😃😃😃😃😃👏👏👏👏
Love it! ❤️
This is Great Art !! i share every words you said. Thank you for sharing you art 🙏
One of my favorite movies! Love this you are awesome!
Beautiful
Fan art? Is that what you call it! I call it portraiture. I love portrait drawings. I love people. Wherefore, start with the perfect faces. The faces everyone are most familiar with. When you draw them, drop down to the imperfect structure of everyday people. The people who have the struggles and the agony of everyday life printed upon the soul of their mortal existence. And that is what we aim for when we sit down to capture them in sketch, or color, paint or sculptures. I love how you did capture the character Harrison Ford worked hard to portray on screen. You my friend, are an artist.😊😊😊😊
Bien bien maestro saludos desde Cuba 🇨🇺
Brilliant , i have watched lots of your paintings and think how will he ever manage to pull this off but you always do, thank you so much for sharing your painting with us xxxxx
Many thanks
Seriously, brother, I am super proud of the artist you have become. Watching your videos for so long, I think I feel familiar with your painting. Honestly, keep it up, and you'll continue to inspire young artists to find their own voices. 🙏
Your art is inspiration for me,I love to watch Your videos 👏👏👏👏
This is one of the biggest reasons why I wish I had a Time Machine. If I could share all the art skills I’ve learned in the past few years with my younger self, I wouldn’t be doing it as a hobby today.
ayyo the cliffhanger-
A really nice painting for sure.
Amazing art❤
Great
Very interesting pose and gesture of an iconic movie scene. Beautifully rendered! Congrats
cok basarili, nice Work!🙀👏👏
That teaser at the end though!
Absolutely awesome! Really enjoyed the video and definitely brought me back to my childhood 😊! Thanks Alpay!
My pleasure!
Incredible work:-)
Awesome
Beautiful painting! I really enjoyed this video, it’s the first time I’ve seen your channel.
Sold! Nice work, sir.
Nice asmr ..thanks for sharing
Amazing vídeo and painting. You are getting fans from Brazil now, congrats!
Brilliant tribute. Just came across your channel.
A new fan :-)
Awesome love it as always. Just perfect video, painting
Thank you so much 😀
Ultimate boss battle of art?.... intrigued 🤔.
Will be waiting patiently good sir.
I love watching you're videos. Motivation narration with lovely painting process in well cut wideo make me "Damn, where is my paper, brushes and paints. I need paint sth".
I'm not in half as good as you (well I'm just a hobbyist) but that doesn't bother me, you're one of my masters from whom I'm learning craftsmith.
Thank you for all your videos. It is always a pleasure but it is also a little bit frustrating to never see the original model. I would be very interesting to see how you convert the colors, textures, lines...of a real photo into brushstrokes.
i looove your art and the video 😍🤩🤩🤩
I might just recreate this painting in my style….🤔
M A G I S T R A L 🥇 Y HERMOSO TRABAJO🖌️ CONGRATULACIONES. GOD BLESS YOU MASTER
