So I spent all night tonight in my Gaede, remembering the first part of this video (I had to watch it in two parts. Life happens 😂) linked up with Japanese DDs and cruisers, firing my torps shortly after their torps, a little ahead and a little behind 😂 landed at least two torps every Salvo that way!
Solid destroyer play.
The absent player looked like a disconnect, I've had it only a few times, last time it took me 7 minutes before the game would let me back in (wasn't my end either), beck with just enough time to watch the enemy cap is out.
Yeah I had it happen to me last week too
I love this ship! Probably my favorite ship.in the game right now! I love using the sonar and killing guys in their own smoke then using their smoke against their own team.

Good game. I love the German DDs. The Maas is probably my favorite t6 DD. The Z23 is even better. Probably my favorite T7 DD

Had some fun with the Maass, the Z-23 is even better. I got max von spee with eric bay and reginald tyrwitt as inspiration.
I have a 10.3km torp range (10.8 potential) with 5.1 km detectibility (4.9 potential) with 70knots speed torps.
Just had a 198k gameplay last night.Absolutely amazing and the guns are great too, reload isnt great but overall awesome ship. Good work on this game!

Maybe you could make a video for some of the newer people regarding concealment and builds for that. My buddy gets so frustrated when enemy ships disappear from view and I am having difficulty explaining how the concealment works in such a way that he gets it.

They aren't that concealed but they aren't bad so far.
Glad to see you're enjoying the destroyers, I saw your commander set up in the Gaede video, in my opinion I would swap Tyrwhitt with Tanaka for the torp damage boost, I know it's sacrificing reload time but the extra damage makes up for it, but thats down to personal preference. Not yet unlocked the Maass as still on Gaede as I prefer the IJN and RN lines for destroyers.
On a different note are you looking forward to the release of the RN cruisers next week? I've got 18 mil silver just waiting for them, either that or finally buy the Kagero! 😂
I'll be looking forward to RN cruisers though honestly I'm not a good cruiser captain.

How you feeling about the German line DD's? I'm kinda digging the extra HP.... the torp speed definitely takes some getting used to (especially after playing Japanese DD's).
Extra HP is nice, guns aren't bad, torps aren't great
Personally I would've stayed in enemy cap praying that my teammate (Akatsuki) would die so we could win.
Wasted smoke on the Awoi he was already at max range heading away.
Yeah I was planning on continuing to fire but missed how short the range is on main guns

Hey spartan, after you torped the Richelieu you locked your guns how did you do that?
Go into your controller settings, select pre-set 3 and you can now click your Left thumbstick to lock your guns while you look around

Far from a pro but getting more consistent
I’m at the t-22 for German destroyers right now and I honestly like my benson and akatsuki more because benson actually has a chance Vs. cruisers and my akatsuki has lots of torpedos, but the t-22 you have to get close for you to fire torpedos so in my opinion i prefer American and Japanese destroyers
Get past that T-22 and you'll hate the American line compared to German, if you like torp play lol. The German line gets pretty long range torps and t5 and up, you don't get spotted unless you want to/make a mistake. They're pretty amazing lol. Japanese can torp farther sure but their guns are useless by comparison.
