      If you can afford them Red wing is the way to go. I've worn many pairs of shitty boots, that's probably half the reason I walk funny now. I can't wait to get myself a pair of $200+ Red wings.
      It's not that much compared to what some of these people pay for the dunks and whatever vintage sneakers we wore as kids.

      Everyone in my shop wears the moccasin red wings, no steel toe and a very limited tread but also slip resistant. I do Tile though so we aren’t doing welding lol. Only on side jobs Ill braze some copper but thats about all I am doing with fire.

    I quit wearing steel toes a while back. I wear the same Ariat cowboy boots that Rip wears in Yellowstone. Most comfortable boot I've ever worked in.

      @@danielfinney4295 if it means anything to you I agree with you. If your feet aren't healthy those problems can work their way up the body especially if there's any injury.
      Lost of modern shoes too because they don't give at all out pressure or squeeze the foot too much that the arches start to drop which is bad. I've heard a few sports medicine professionals talk about it happening to their semipro athletes.

    • @layleedayne4772
      @layleedayne4772 Před rokem +4

      I also just remembered one of the biggest issues with steel toes is that the toe caps themselves are meant to fit both sides. They don't have a left and right form for them which can cause uneven pressure on the toes or cramp them.

Timberland doesn't get enough recognition, they make awesome comfortable work boots as well. Glad to see them getting some love. I was surprised not to see any Carolina boots on here.
