- The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be the S.Korean company's third launch since the Ioniq brand for 'exclusive' EVs was announced in 2020. Based on the E-GMP architecture, the Ioniq 7 will be a close platform-mate of the Kia EV9, offering three rows of seating, and a design that combines cues of an SUV and a minivan.
In recent spy shots, we observe the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 with familiar features and interior touches, such as round elements, comfortable seats, and a flat floor. Buyers can expect wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a bank of physical controls for the HVAC system and the infotainment volume adjustment.
We're expecting the Hyundai Ioniq 7 to release in the U.S. during the second half of 2024 with prices starting north of $50,000. Expect the next-gen Hyundai electric car to come in standard-range and long-range models, with a choice of all-wheel drive. Future competitors will include three-row electric SUVs from Ford and Toyota starting in 2025.

Hope Hyundai keeps the Ioniq 7 affordable. The EV9 is about 75k for the top-end, which is a lot of money! 55k-65k to me feels a lot more reasonable for a three-row EV SUV.
Get the price down to $30-$35k I'll take a look.
Cost is mostly from battery. Don't expect a 100 kwh pack to be Cheap.
I cannot see it being as low cost as you hope. It already looks to be the best value 3 row EV. It is priced well IMO. Heck a loaded ICE Jeep Wagoneer is more and Toyota Grand Highlanders can top $60k. This is nicer than a Model X which is $80k!
Try 80k here in ireland for the base model..
If You compare it to the competitors, it is cheap.
Looks very good! Hope it will have good towing capacity in the long-range version.
Very futuristic EV 👍👍👍👍
🤨when did this happen?
Anything below 400 miles is a big NO for family vehicle. While Vehicle manufacturers can't understand this? just 300 miles range. if we use heater, range drops to half which puts owners under pressure driving and using the vehicle where and when to charge.
Because physics and economics. It would need an enormous battery which would make it too heavy and too expensive.
You drive 400 miles without a stop?
Come on, be true! You have no family, do You?
And Your other comments show me, that You have no experience with EVs. Your range expectations are pure fiction. In reality You don't need 400 miles of range on a daily base or am I wrong?
@@NorbertScheibner No one gets 400 miles range, if that is stated range, in real world driving especially in winter. That is why you need 400 miles of estimated range to go say 360 miles or less of real world conditions and that is without any payload(extra passengers, gear).

I use heater in my VW 2023 Id.4 all the time and the range never drops below the stated 275 miles range ( in northern CA winter ). In fact, it exceeds that most of the time. And this model doesn't even have heat pump and uses conventional heating approach.
I doubt there will any range drop in Ioniq 5/6/7 due to the use of heat pump based heaters.
I prefer to have a steering wheel than the joy stick of hyundai ioniq 7...
if needs to have one pedal drive
It does.
Rear led lights are really frustrating. They a over done. They should make it look simple and elegant by removing that disgusting led lights all round the rear of vehicle. Kia looks good in their design and usage of lights. Hundai appears like 1960's vehicke
The Ioniq 7 is one handsome beast from the front but my god is that backend ugly...
'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'
Personally I quite like it. Better than the Kia EV9.
I love the back myself
Yeah the KIA EV9 looks way better.
I can't wait to see the specifications.
The EV9 is more a 600 V car with the big battery and charging is limited to 210 kW max.
If the Hyundai overcomes this "problems" and maybe has a better CW-value because of this ugly design, which leads to a faster charging and more range, the design does not matter that much for me.
Indeed it is. Why can't Hyundai copy the SUV's backend design from Audi or BMW ? The 3rd quarter glass with that sharp notch looks like a piranha .

Not all diodes emit "harmful blue light".
how do we know? is there a test of some sort? @@gregkramer5588
Smokin' too much ganja bro!
Chinese vehicles are always a big NO NO. can't trust their quality even while sleeping.
When did South Korea become part of China ?
Hahaha. Maybe you should google where Hyundai is based
Hyundai isn't Chinese, it's Korean and has a fantastic warranty
