    On my own personal Frontier nismo I used KYB up front and Bilstein in the rear. Honestly the best matchup I’ve ever done, due to hauling and payload.

    Thank you for sharing your technical knowledge in a way that a skillful individual could replace the shocks on their own Ford Ranger. The only thing I need is vehicle hoist to get the job done and maybe a few extension rods.

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for watching. You don’t need a hoist to do this job. You can do it right in your driveway for sure.

    Nice vid as usual. KYB's are good quality but tend to ride a little firm.

    Hey i watched a video on 07-14 Chevy Silverado thermostat change you did a while back. I have an 07 GMC Sierra 1500 I changed the heater hose. The one that connects from the firewall to the thermostat to the expansion reservoir tank, because the plastic cracked and broke so I replaced it replaced the thermostat because I tried to refill and burp the system but it wasn’t taking in fluid so after replacement I’m having the same issue. I fill it to the full line I turn on the truck then I turn on the heater on full blast, the electric fans or thermostat won’t engage. The thermostat and hoses are brand new. Bottom radiator hose it getting warm but the top one is cold. I need help thanks

    my 2000 4 liter V6 Ranger front suspension makes for a very stiff ride, can feel every crack and crevice in the road. I have coil springs up front. is it the coil springs or the shocks that should be replaced to get a more car-like comfort level? I have a hitch but never use it and I haul nothing of extreme weight on the truck bed. tx

    the way we do the front shocks were i am at is take a socket with a half inch ratchet on the nut and bend it back and forth till it breaks off
