  • Asthma has been a big challenge because of my active lifestyle. I've had many asthma attacks and emergencies. Through personal experience, however, I have found ways that have helped me improve my asthma. I am not a medical professional, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I just hope you find some value in the tips I give in this video.

    I had asthma as a kid and it went away with swimming and went on to be a top basketball player. Then during this pandemic it came back smh 🤦🏾‍♂️

      Yeah I’ve had an uptick in my asthma during the pandemic as well. I’ve been doing a daily inhaler in the morning as well as boosting my cardio and it’s helped a ton

    been inactive my whole life and have asthma, so becoming fit have been a complete impossibility in my mind, just something that was "not for me" but something changed a few years ago when i got inspired to start calisthenics and compared to a healthy person my progress is pathetic but for me the strength i gained, while severely lacking in such an important area of training as breathing - is one of the things im most proud of

    My asthma is very mysterious i think
    I use to be very healthy and active in other season summer or winter and run 10-15 km with out any problems but when there is rain or cloudy enviroment even if i sit inside the house i suffer from sneeze and nasal allergy
    And result is asthmatic attack
    Please clarify me

    • @cabtraining
      @cabtraining  Před 3 lety +1

      I deal with a lot of the same problems. I have horrible allergies to pollen and grass and it really affects my breathing and asthma. And it worsens in the spring and the fall. I’d suggest allergy pills or shots, Flonase or trying to work out indoors

      Never be embarrassed of that. I’ve realized that so many other people have asthma. I always had my inhaler right on the bench so if I needed to come out and use it mid game, it was there.

      Hey so I have bad allergies to grass, weeds, pollen, and dog hair. And I visited an allergy and asthma doctor to try and treat both of those issues. I think your best bet is to go see a specialist and get prescribed some meds to treat your allergies and asthma so you can go back to training like you did

      You definitely can once you control your asthma. You can’t give up. If your asthma is too severe, you should consider going to an asthma-specific doctor to get your lungs checked out.
