So my parents (Indian) have been telling me about these breathing exercises for years because these are the most basic things covered in Yoga. I never really listened to them, thinking what really is yoga gonna do better than running.
But now that a foreigner is telling me the same thing I'm suddenly convinced that this shit does work.
faxxxxxxxxxxx
Dude this is SOOOO true
Yoga is not excercise, the word is asana. Asana when done to impress Almighty Creator of All is Yoga. And it's not shit. I am also An INDIAN , believe me it's not shit. Mind your thoughts as they can become your intentions ,your intentions can manifest in your actions, actions done diligently becomes habits, habits becomes destiny, Density can be best of both worlds or worst of both worlds. Music was the reason you got convinced, music is a kind of magic, evil one. Beware. Don't follow musicians and liers blindly, use logic and knowledge. Gain true knowledge.

I could run for so long without fatigue, I can run extremely fast, only thing that holds me back is running out of breathe
Exactly, as a sprinter I can make 2-3 good runs but after that I need a break
@Turro Bandolero good run for me is 5k so 3 miles
@Turro Bandolero god run has to be atleast 3 km or more.
@Turro Bandolero if you are a footballer that isn't a goalkeeper then 2 miles a day at least will work wonders.
When you sprint you don't use oxygen in your muscles but your blood and organs still use them so you have to focus on technique

A) Leg fatigue late in game = resistance and interval training.
B) Out of breath = breathwork or HIIT (30s shuttle runs followed by 30s burpees/squats w/1 min rest and repeat x3)
C feel ok first half but gas out 60-70m do 2 mile runs every day in addition to training thats light run i.e. 65% max hr increase every 2 weeks

This actually…. makes so much sense. I have struggled forever with stamina and never realized that it probably is exclusively due to improper breath work…. my legs are almost never tired but I literally run out of breath within a few minutes
Did u fixed that ? If so what worked ?
@@8abyboy Actually yes!! After this video I researched more into breathing techniques when running and found a few things that really helped me: 1) Breathing DEEPLY in through the nose instead of the mouth - even though it doesn’t seem like it, you actually get way more quality oxygen through your nose. 2) Having a specific breathing pattern / counting the number of breaths you take. Like for example if you’re doing a slower jog you could breath in for a count of 4 seconds and breath out for a count of 4 seconds. The faster you go, the more you have to adjust the time (e.g. in for 4, out for 2, or in for 2, out for 2, etc). find a rhythm that works best for you!
3) Engaging your abs/core while you’re running. For some reason this made it easier for me to breath vs when my core wasn’t engaged, as it felt less impact on my body and made it easier to take deep breaths.
I also watched this video specifically if that helps! : czcams.com/video/L_vZjikr5Ew/video.html

I've been just riding my bike at a moderate pace for an hour or so a few times a week and didn't realize how good my cardio was getting. Went back to jiujitsu after a few years off and I'm having no trouble keeping up with much better people just because my cardio is good. Doing 2.5 hour sessions no problem. You don't have to kill yourself for good cardio, just consistently work at it and it comes faster than you would guess.

I had to do a fitness test for the police academy to get in. Did great on the pushups and situps, but I struggled on the endurance part. I passed them all, but I had to push my body to get a mile & a half under the required time. I haven't really exercise exercise in about 16 years lol. So I'm trying to get my body right.
Fun thing is I'm in the same situation right now...hahaha! Haven't exercised in a year

@@lordoffaiyum9727 Lol amazing timing. This past Thursday we had our final PT state test and I ran my mile & a half in 10:46. Knocked close to 4 mins off during the course of the academy. At 34 I didn't think it was possible lol.

For all of you asking for breathing techniques just watch tutorials on following pranayaam (breathing techniques)
Anulom vilom
Bhastrika pranayaam
And kapaal bharati
These are the basics of pranayaam start with small counts and then increase it slowly they'll show effect slowly but surely that's how pranayaam works.
omg its actually the hardest thing trying to do this. My Legs are fine but holy the intense HIIT training is a lot. The running is so hard to do for me. What you stopped doing go go from agile to slow(from one side to other)?

We really are a species of amnesia. Always rediscovering things from the past thinking that some modern dude was the first to discover it. These breathing techniques are ancient knowledge from the Indian Vedas. Same goes for extensive knowledge of herbs and plants.

It’s because people don’t want to share knowledge to the piers. Likely because their scared the competition will use it against them.

Here’s the weird that happened to me . Well before I enlisted I was in horrible shape, I worked out , but never really ran , and in basic we did a 1-1-1 , 1 minute push ups , 1 minute sit ups and 1 mile run , to my surprise I ran a mile in just about 7 minutes, before I would be winded right away , it would’ve took me like 20 minutes. I know that working on your core helps too , a sgt told me she ran pretty fast before she was pregnant and after she had her baby her run time was slower and it’s because she needed to work on her core
And you read my mind super video 💖

I’m a boxer, when I go into a match I can tear up and eat shots for 30 seconds to a minute before I have to draw back until I can find an opportunity to make a difference with even less stamina. Same exact shit, I'll bust my ass in training, mitts and bag hard, 2-2.5 miles every day, I had like 5 months before I had a fight lined up so I worked hard.
During that fight I was great the first round, but kept feeling more and more winded, and it's harder because I try not to back off my opponent when I need to breathe for a second so I tried to keep on him.
I won the fight by decision, and I could tell he was tired and a little wobbly throughout the fight, but even about an hour after the fight I was still breathing hard catching my breath, I didn't even get to throw as many strikes as I wanted to lol.
My coach even says he doesn't get it because I train my ass off.
I was kinda wondering if I had anemia or something, but I have no idea. At the time I didn't smoke either and had stopped drinking.

I wouldn't tell you this if I didn't care about helping another person so here you go. You need to do consistent cardio and push yourself and make yourself sweat a lot inorder to build cardio. Try do 1/2 hr a day of different bodyweight exercises that make you breath hard. Like do 30seconds burpees, rest 30 seconds, then 30s squats rest 30s, double leg side to side jumps 30s. So one circuit of that is like 3 minutes. Do 10 circuits. You should be pretty tired by the end of it. Doing this for 1 week u will already see progress and more progress if u do it may weeks

I have been looking for this omg
Started to watch ur vids love every single one 🥰
How would you recommend handling all this training when I work full time. Running 2 miles and strength training plus working it is very hard to fit it all in. Is there a schedule u would recommend?
Personally i would only give your 100% once a week during your 2 miles run, and than run twice or once a week just at 70%
2 mile light jog as a warm up. Lift upper body one day, lower the next. Rest day. Repeat.
1) Breathe proper (drills)
2) Ashwagandha
3) caffeine in optimum amount
4) Not Just running, focus on specific body parts,(power also matters) . Do different types of runnings(shuttle run, 2miles jogg) etc
5) 👽... Nah 😂, mental and physical rest .
Being in your 30's helps alot too!
I apreciate you 🤝🏽
Thanks

To be honest, you probably can't do much own your own unless you sign a pro contract with a big team. There are tonnes of things involved in increasing stamina like leg workout, running, running form , breathing pattern, proper sleep, diet, rest, and what not. What I believe is one finds their own way of increasing the stamina provided they are passionate and hard working athelete. I have a friend who never went to gym or did any kind of special training. But the guy has brilliant stamina and the reason behind it is he plays basketball too and he is pretty good at it.
