    I still suffer from fatigue post covid, but I'ts because covid brought back asthma even though I don't get attacks but I'm constantly fatigued for someone that works out 4-5 times a week. Im also a veri anxious person. What would you recommend me ?

      Hi Miguel,
      Buteyko could really work for you. People with chronic fatigue (like you possibly), would be advised to start slow, with breathe light exercises and build up strength.
      As you have anxiety on top of possible chronic fatigue, pushing too hard could make you rundown or in extreme cases cause an anxiety attack.
      Start with breathe light and work steadily from there. Once you have a CP of 20 seconds or higher, you can start looking at light to moderate breath hold exercises like the steps exercise.
      Go slow and listen to your body.
      Hope that helps.

    How about lifting weights?how can I apply the buteyko exercises?

    • @ButeykoClinicInternational
      @ButeykoClinicInternational  Před rokem +2

      Hi Anicca,
      Practice the exercises as normal but get your number of steps up and improve your control pause to at least 20 to begin with.
      In the simplest terms, try to minimise nasal breathing. If you HAVE to breathe through your mouth, then do so but return to nasal breathing as soon as possible. Listen to your body.

      Yes, breathe nose, light and slow. Everything with relaxation. No strong breath holds.
