I never assumed he was Moriarty. Not even for a second. I expected some kind of grand entrance where he announces who he is. Not something simple like this. Scott killed it in the role.
Which, funny enough, fits Moriarty pretty well.
In the books he was always this mysterious figure for a few books before he appeared personally and Sherlock didn't even expect to see him there (if I remember correctly).

later she was worried, because he didn't show up to work and his boss was getting angry. she apologized to him for screaming at him, told him it was okay if he's gay, but she wanted him to let her now, that he's okay.
then she found out that jim from it was actually jim moriarty.
that's the end of their love story :P

At 00:44, the look of utter disdain on his face after Jim immediately excuses himself the MOMENT he leaves his number.
I think he truly believed Molly was lying to him and was trying to make him jealous in the beginning

So, he noticed he was "gay" to call her out on it, recognized she was shocked by it and tried to play it off, then got absolutely irritated once he realizes Jim isn't there to corroborate any sort of relationship story, but JUST to leave Sherlock his number.

It's a testament to Moriarty's genius that not even Sherlock could figure out that the way he was behaving - silly, impressionable, overwhelmed by celebrity - was all just a facade.
Sherlock having Watson tell him about the shoes, is a very telling scene. He's trying to teach Watson to be more observant. He's a great step in their friendship.

What I like about this is Moriarty being able to come across as unassuming so that Sherlock doesn't suspect anything about him at first (it's a great way to introduce a villain with ulterior motives into a story)! 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
