The EU sanctioned illegal migrants to enter, and as Ireland is a member state, what do they expect? There needs to be a law passed that anyone arriving to The UK by small boat or the back of a lorry, is arrested and immediately deported/expelled, no ifs or buts and receiving a lifetime ban from re-entering. This would not only stop traffickers, it would stop their movements to Ireland.

I live in aAustralia. Our government is currently trying to pass a bill whereby no vaisa will be granted to anyone coming from Iran, Iraq, Russia, Mozambique or South Sudan ever! The Republic of Ireland signed up to the failed EU' Common Asylum System legislation 2013/33/EU back in 2018. Look up EU Commission decision 2018/753 for more detail.
