My experience with this ideology is that it is incredibly biased. The assumption is always that the white employees have had an easy and wealthy background and everyone who is non-white has been tormented by white people. During my childhood my father became very ill and was hospitalized, with no income as he was self-employed. I was very aware of the reality my parents faced, even if my younger sisters were not. I also knew children whose parents had died, one whose parents had been murdered. The point is, none of us have had a life without challenges, so this constant harping about race and gender is an annoying waste of time, and only injects division where there previously had been none.

They (lefties, not employers, specifically) are working on it, and they HAVE managed to get a lot of people vehemently on board with absolute madness. Change what people are 'allowed' to say, and plenty will change how they think and not even realise it. That is why I believe that their LANGUAGE GAMES, the re-definings (gay, woke, rayzizt...) and euphemisms (gender-affirming, inclusion, unhoused) and existing term bastardizations (woman/man, -phobic,-hate-violence, Democracy) and creation of nonsense like 'trans' and 'Latinx' and 'cis male/female' are their MOST dangerous weapons that we need to be vigilantly aware of. Just think of all the things kids (and an amazingly discouraging amount of adults) now believe you can't even THINK about when it comes to gender and race, for instance. They are mentally 'self-forbidden' from rational thought through language censorship and social control already.

I’m in the US and my company had an online diversity training. One of the sections was about microsgressions. It would have these little cartoon scenarios where a microagression would take place and it would explain why it’s a microagression. Of course, in every scenario the person committing the microagression was white (shocker) with a very stereotypical white name. but my mouth dropped open during the one where the white person in question was depicted as a white woman named “Becky” where Becky says something ignorant to a Black coworker. Not sure if you know this but in the US Becky is a well known slang term that very popular among young Black people to describe a basic ignorant white girl. The companies who put these training together are run by “POC” - not only do I think that whoever created it knows what that word means, but I think using that name was done very intentionally and antagonistically know full well that any white person who catches on wouldn’t feel comfortable in saying something. The complete irony of doing a training on racial microagressions while simultaneously using pejorative terms to describe the white people in the skits is a great representation of this entire movement.

I heard of a job offer, where BIPoC was the preferred applicant. Looking up the letters, I found that the I stood for "indigenous" which certainly does NOT mean, what they intended😅
It is a description of relativity: indigenous are all those people in a certain country that had been living there before any invasion of "diversity" started: whoever is descendant from those (and looking the part) is indigenous - track back your ancestors MORE than 555 years to the region you are living in, you certainly qualify. So any American with ancestors before the continent got flooded with European immigrants and deported Africans or even modern Asians is indigenous THERE. But in Europe you have to track church records, to check where you originated from: all the wars displaced Europeans from one small speck to another: French, Dutch, German and Irish immigants into Great Britain still look quite ingenious to me, if they happened more than 5 generations ago (European pale, so to speak)😅

@@gavinbissell8847 What could be more 'fragile' than a group where 90% of them can be made to completely lose their minds at the utterance of a single word? Willing to ruin your whole future by acting like a pathologically defensive victim every waking minute, accepting and expecting the government and private industry to provide while everyone else has to watch everything they say about and around you or your feelings are hurt to the possible violent extreme, sooner than face bettering oneself; that's the definition of weakness.
The whole concept is a racial slur and a shameless race-bait for money attack, as well as an obvious projection. Weak people like (have) to project a lot since they have no valid arguments.

I had to go through a month long disciplinary procedure for being "racist". The manager made the complaint on behalf of another member of staff who apologised to me and said they didn't want any of this to happen. After the month, the case was dropped with no penalty being applied, but they made sure to drag it out as long as possible. The HR woman had resting bitch face when I went to pick up the outcome, so they obviously were not happy that they had to drop it. I had been in the job for over 20 years and nobody had had a problem with me in all that time before this incident.

In Australia the Australian government has asked their employee what their sexual orientation is which is actually against the Australian Privacy Principles. Staff were also asked if they believed there were more than 2 genders. Under the law the government cannot ask their employees anything that is not directly related to their job but in this instance, under DEI, they broke that law to gather information that will be given to ACON, which is Australia's version of Stonewall. The Australian government is so embedded in DEI, specifically gender identity, the government will overtly break its own law to profile staff. They said the survey, which contained these questions, that it would be anonymous but they asked sufficient questions about the staff member completing the questionaire which you could reasonably expect that most staff could be identified. This is abhorrent that our own government knew they were breaking the law and then when confronted by it said well it is a DEI survey, which means nothing, there is no exemption in the Australian Privacy Principles so they blatantly broke the law. And so has most corporations signed up with ACON who have given the same survey to staff as the APP's apply to government and industry that has a turnover of more than 3 million. We have a government and industry that are breaking laws to profile people.

I worked in HR for 42 years. When I was a young HR professional I met a man who owned an engineering firm. When he learned my occupation, he counseled patience in dealing with employees who after all are people and people are imperfect. He said that he could follow his best employee around for 8 hours and find 8 reasons to fire him. So when I hear that an employee who openly opposes DEI was fired for “justified reasons” unrelated to his opposition to DEI, I don’t believe it.

I worked for a major national charity which was very keen to have minority groups represented in their trustee boards, management and employees.
I live in London and I'd say it's fairly easy to recruit from a huge selection of minorities. My colleagues in rural areas found it excessively difficult to recruit from such a wide range of minorities since the numbers available are quite small.
What one could do is recruit people of different age groups, income groups, profession and class etc, and of course men and women.
