For rathalos, it's built like Monster Hunter, so you have 3 "carts" (KOs) you can suffer before failure, which are shared by the whole team.
It's actually easy to do with bard, as you have access to a cleanse to get rid of the burning debuff, which can easily kill you otherwise if the stacks get too high. Alternatively, if you have a thick enough shield, it prevents you from gaining stacks of burn, which can prevent the timers from refreshing.
I was literally going to say that about Rathalos, it being more like a hunt from MH.
Huh, will have to remember that and go farm for the dyable armour.
Just unsybced 80 4 dps you quickly farm it
@@ruick78 if you're a team of 4 dps you're not soloing it though.
Machinist at lvl 90 with i610 gear can solo Rathalos Extreme in 5 mins.
I know this because that's what I did to farm it, didn't get the mount yet though.
I also like to point out this also Counts, if you want to unlock your tank mount. two birds with one stone.

For the monster hunter mount, i would say finding a PF curb stomp group is ideal, ive run it hundreds of times (helping out FC mates and friends) and I've never seen the mount drop, sitting on 236 +scales atm after getting all gear and buying the mount, and since everyone loots their own scales i wouldn't bother trying to solo it, as it just goes SUPER slow otherwise.

I like you have farmed this hundreds of times helping people with ftc. and i have seen the mount drop once from the chest. thankfully 50 clears isnt too terrible...i basically did it 5 times a day for a week and a half
Neo Exdeath was an intense and very fun solo kill, did it as a Paladin, then again as a Warrior. Food and potions were needed as Paladin, though I’m far from optimal gear as tanks are my alt jobs. I don’t quite have enough damage in this gear to deal with Kefka’s dps check for phase 1 though I’m close, even with a perfect run, food and potions. Soon.
My take is if it requires the current savage gear to solo Stormblood savage then your probably better off just getting your raid static to do them with you.

While this is true, I find solo grinding to be fun.
Anything level 70 and up definitely would need help if you're struggling to do so.
I’m pretty sure this content is mostly for players without a raid static.
I don't have an static so that does not really help.
from my experience, you got super lucky getting seiryu mount first time...i've had to farm him probably the most out of the kamuys
Tsukiyomi took me the longest I was at 168 totems I tortured myself by farming anyways even if I had the totems ugh xD
neo ex death solo as war was alot of fun. finally got the danger noodle mount :)
For the Kefka solo, a WHM recently did it and posted on CZcams, though they had high ilvl.
How high? Right now I only have crafted gear as tome is going to my rpr main(and not sure til after or I side step for tank body for glam) and I don't do savage.

Normal raid and crafted gear only goes up to 610-ish atm.
You can now get il630 gear just with tome stones and alliance raid coins. Aswell as augment 610 crafted to 620. Its not going to be optomized, but it doesn't really matter unless you're doing savages/ultimates.
afaik you can "cheat" on kamuy (lanner and horse mounts as well): just wait for next moogle treasure trove because usually one of the kamuy is part of the rewards.
but it will take more than a year to collect every one of them this way; give the various trials a try
the Air Force mount is an absolute must, for Lalafell. They look so freakin' adorable in it, like its some amusement park ride.
Have solo'd Byakko, Suzaku and Seiryu multiple times on my PLD if any PLD out there are wondering
just gotta invul the throw with Byakko or the physical vul kills you

I've done that dgn 100s of times and have yet to even see it. Very rare drop

I was grinding Rathalos and can confirm I was allowed multiple raises before I failed. But the knockdown is a huge pain in the ass

Yeah, you're allowed 3 lives between the entire party and it lets you respawn whenever in the actual fight, so doing it with any undersized party should logically work the same way.

I tried to solo soul of the creator as a whm but struggle a bit with it, tho that might also be bcs i have never seen the fight so i am kinda figuring out stuff as it comes,,,
Monster Hunter ex fight, it only wipes after 4 deaths total with the party of a run. Makes soloing it even easier
That Magitek Pred mount…for the first day I farmed that dungeon for 3 hours straight and no drop. Felt like shit so didn’t bother with it for a few days. After that little break, I got it on my first run 😂

What I truly want is the Omega Mount so badly
I don't think it will be ever possible to solo O12S. You will always need at least 2 people similar to Susano.
If you put up a party finder, people are happy to join to get the mount/glams, the fight is easy now unsynced with everyone level 90 and decent gear.
these are good try delta 3 sav full tank party to farm for any tank mount goes down real quick 45 seconds or around there .
I know it's not solo but its usually pretty quick to fill a party with the description of a tank mount farm
i solo lakshmi with DRK - it's got good DPS for a tank, self heal as part of its cycle, and a couple "oh shit" buttons. DMG mit is pretty tight as a trade though

Basically yes, or even faster, because you can go DPS + Tank
for kefka i would suggest 1 scholar or sage as to help negate the skull mechanic more easily, since that will probably stump most people solo
also for shinyru ex barriers also stop the damage down from the dragonheads mechanic (managed to pull that off as a war and drk)
Question, and it's probably not as complicated as I'm making it, but do people roll Need or Greed on mounts & minions? Since everyone already has a mount & minion, I've always rolled greed since I technically don't "need" it.
Unless you're in a group that has specified how they want to do loot beforehand you should just roll need on anything you want. Rolling greed will guarentee you dont get it unless literally noone else rolls need.
Always roll need for anything of value. You only roll greed if the party is configured to do it that way.
You should make a note of what level or gear level you can accomplish this at sufficiently. Since some of us watching this are new or midway leveling
You are right. It's always from a Max level standpoint, but I should make it clear
You always want to be max level to farm raids and trials for mounts. If you’re new why would you think you can solo farm anything?

It hurts that i can't solo the gwbys i want no other mount but that mech dragon and people have no patience to run those trials

Yeah, I hope they fix these "groundbreaking" mechanics, as I actually think they already removed some of them for Unsynced mode.
Although it is interesting to note now that it is entirely possible to skip both Fundamental Synergy and Hello World, if you're willing to replace your healers with dps. 600+ ilevel is more than sufficient, as long as you respect the basic mechanics like Beyond Defense and Patch.

there's zero chance you will be able to solo o12s in 6.4 7.0 or even 7.2 gear. To solo it, the boss must die before Hello World can cast.
for kefka its pretty easy to kill him with a party of three one healer one tank and one dps, as long if you have a least moonward gear it should be easy to solo aswell as when my friends did it we all died but our war :) so its possible to get it solo !! might need a bit of a heal check tho
Forsaken is definitely not doable by anyone but a tank
as a MH player I'm going to guess your team can die a total of 3 times to Rathalos before failing.
I guess that is the same here. But I was still surprised, that being one Player, this is still the case 😉

You can get a party easy and clear under 2 minutes

Reality: *mobs that can auto hit you at level 90 with attacks that do well over half HP for DPS, over and over again, and an insta-kill laser that can get you at literally any time without warning, animation, or cast bar*

i did it first try as dancer with like 20% health left. try using raid food and using your mitigation and second wind. you got this! ❤
Use warrior. I was actually able to solo alex as a gnb at the end of shadowbringers (but it was tight)
