    I make the same kind of recipe except for the tomatoe part- I use spicy v8 juice and it adds this perfect kick of flavor. You should try it out.... It's a game changer

      lol, well you only need their balls, not all their meat! I used to live 8n Jersey, same problem. 😂🤣😂🤣🤪

    That was one of my favorite USAF chow hall foods but they used a red sauce, not a brown gravy on top. You didn't give the baking instructions and I would make them smaller so I could put them onto a sub roll. I guess I could always cut them. I couldn't find the original recipe anywhere below. Thanks for the post!

      you have to use minuet rice because regular rice will still be crunchy

      If you use wild rice or regular rice, you will have to bake it for about 1 to 1.5 hours so the rice cooks and you will need more liquid for the rice. I add a 1/2 to 3/4 of beef broth to the meat to make sure the rice will cook.

    Don't think I've ever seen this one with brown gravy. Ive only seen tomato sauce
