Is Bacon Bad For You | The Truth Exposed is a video sharing some practical thoughts on bacon and sharing with you whether or not its actually bad for you.
There is so much talk about bacon being a harmful food to consume. Many people claim that bacon causes cancer and serious health conditions. Many of these claims are either disproven or complete erroneous. Let's dive into the topic.
Is bacon healthy is a common question, many people are following the low carb diet or even a Keto diet and they love to pile on the bacon. If you look at common knowledge of this topic you too may be a little afraid to eat bacon in fear of having health problems. Well we look at is bacon really that bad the answer in no its not.
One question we get a lot is, is bacon fat good for you. Many people are afraid of saturated fats and much the the saturated fat the you find in bacon is jus that that fat that is found in olive oil. That particular fat being oleic acid. Now a lot of people were afraid that saturated fats would cause them to have heart disease but reality is that modern research debunks this myth and finds it to not impact our health in a negative way.
Is bacon good for keto diet is another common question people ask me. If you've followed the keto diet then you know that bacon is in so many common keto recipes. Because it is a high fat meat it is in fact an excellent food on the keto diet. So if you were wondering is bacon healthy for you on the keto dit it is in fact a good fatty meat you you can eat plain or mix into recipes.
Some sources wonder is bacon bad for keto diet and it works well as it is loaded with fat and one of the main ideas around the keto diet is that your trying to push the fat content and bacon helps with that goal. Others get concerned over the nitrate or nitrate content in bacon and the truth is that

I found a bacon that is lower sodium, and no sugar, at Aldi's for $3.49 for a pound. The brand is called Appleton farms. It's a great purchase all around, good fat, filling, only $3.49/#, no sugar at all, or stupid dextrose, and it's not $4.98 a pound like the one at Walmart

What's your take on this? I can't eat, GMO fed animals. I have leaky gut issues, and fybromiagia. And pollips in my colon. The last colon cleanse almost killed me. I couldn't digest any food at all. Ldl is needed by the body. Its the arteries turning into tiny lanes that are the problem caused by excess calories and huge amounts of sugar in today's diet. Thats why its confusing, because every couple years they come up with different research and they all say different things... it was always “proven” too much meats and animal profucts are bad for arteries etc. Now new research says its good. Tomorrow they going to say carbs actually good but too much protein bad. Thays why its better to choose what works for you personally, sustainable diet for your personal needs and lifestyle, and eat a little bit of everything in moderation. Diets often turn into a form of religion. How come a human cant eat melons or legumes or honey etc., thats proven to be good for us for generations, but can stuff in fatty animal products that most of us buy from supermarket where its stuffed with preservatives etc. I bet majority dont buy these products from organic stores or sourced from special farms, because then its too expensive.

Just look up your daily reference intake and see if it’s too much. Read the package for the carbs, fat, protein, salt, etc per 100g and calculate the amount in 4 slices.

when i cook bacon, i use a toast to soak up all the fat leftover, then fry it too crisp it up to create a rich crisp fat bread chip. is that bad for you? it helps me keep warm during cold days when im in the woods shoveling snow. god bless

As much as u luv it. It can be overwhelming in taste factor. Think of a BLT. No LT. Just bacon. I would be impressed to see.

Natural nitrate s are fine...but you lost my confidence when you said synthetic nitrates aren't to worry about maybe u need to check that out abit more... make sure you get quality bacon with a natural nitrate like cultured celery/juice and sea salt. If I were u I wouldn't say it's okay to eat synthetic nitrates like sodium nitrate you may cause some one adverse health problems with that advice. People should be aware of how their food is preserved it could kill them in the long run

What is with this trend of chiropractors giving medical advice. There’s not a cardiologist who will tell you that bacon is ok, it’s not. You might lose weight eating bacon and fat but you will lose weight on chemotherapy also. There’s no “healthy” bacon or other processed meat, just as there is no healthy cigarette. I’d call him a quack but he’s not a real doctor so......... (and I’m no vegan.)
