These videos aren't really about them breaking rules, right? It's just printing errors; no rules being broken. I thought it would be about sets that use illegal connections or break LEGO's rules about sets.

Spoiler for Episode 15: The Tragedy
I was so sad when his ship the Razorcrest was blown up, however I hope we get a new Slave 1 set for it
I've seen many of the examples of LEGO rule-breaking. In nearly all of them, there is no issue. No rules broken; just users misinterpreting the instructions.
The placement of the single stud brick onto the gear offered in the thumbnail is a good example. If one spends a few more seconds analyzing the image, it's clear
that the the brick is meant to mirror the other single stud brick already in place, situating it behind and below the gear. It's not even a printing error. It's user error.
in the new taj mahal i got an extra bag of 1x1 studs
it's a design error, you dont draw an arrow pointing to the gear and expect everyone out of thousands of your customers to solve a riddle
@@chimerasofhafgufa Look closer. The arrow is indicating the desired position of the brick; it's pointing to the void just visible beyond the gear. No riddle solving involved; just requires better observation skills.
4:43 i remember getting a sticker on a lego firetruck set perfectly put on, exactly dead center, and exactly straight, and i swear to god i did this, i remember how impressed i was with getting that sticker on like that
"what's wrong? why aren't you playing with your new lego set?"

When building sets, stickering took me the longes, because I wanted it PERFECT
Not just you want it perfect
@@balazs8379 I feel like alot of people want it perfect. But even then we all still screw up because the stickers are SO damn small sometimes
Ah yes, longes, a mix of long and ages lol
@@Xiodot yes. Because it will take long for people of all ages lmao
If you have a brick separator use the flat corner to pick up the sticker and place it, makes it MUCH easier
"Sort of, like, a shadowy color"
Hmm, you know I could swear there's a name for that color.
ye i thnk it's blunk, not sure tho
Star Wars sets officially have the lightsaber hilt rotated so that the side with the four extremities is on the bottom. The circles go on top, and that is where the blade goes.
Iâd also like to point out that the left arm on the droid from the droid gunship set is flipped. The wider end is the shoulder, not the hand.

Spitprix: there is a lot of things wrong with this Lego trolls set
Me: like itâs existence
"Lego Image-Fails" would be more fitting, missing the Lego Sets, that actually break the rules.
Old polish catalogs were a gold mine for errors like those, especially in the translated set descriptions. My favourite one was propably the description for the original Slave 1 from 2000. It mentioned Jabba the Hutt and his name was translated as "Chata Jabba" which literally means "Jabba the hut". Hut, like a small house :x
LOL
When the lego movie came out, I got a double decker couch set, and it didnât come with a certain piece, so I couldnât complete the set :/

@@lilbill7385 There is actually a section specifically for replacing pieces. Generally it's free and done, if you need a lot of peices (or maybe you abuse it) they may require a proof of purchase.
Years ago, around 1998, there was a number you called, boy did I use it to get cool pieces from sets I didn't own. I did it for a while too, never got denied or charged.

There was once a few years back that my family bought a Christmas themed lego set for our lego Christmas village. And when we opened up the box we found out that bag (3 or 4) was missing from the box. So we returned it and apparently there was some sort of production error and apparently each and everyone of those sets had bags missing. Thankfully they got in a new shipment the day we went there to return it so we were able to pick up a new copy of the set. Good thing we have only had this happen once! đ

I had an old Exo-Force set when I was a kid, and the cover to the instruction booklet was inverted from the rest of the pages. Probably just a simple case of the papers got flipped around during assembly, but still funny to remember.

cool tip, if you place the star wars droid body on backwards you can then add a lightsaber beam piece, or fire piece to make it look like the droid got shot
As someone who had sets with the older style instructions as a kid, I never found them difficult to follow, so I don't see why people complain about them so much. I remember when Lego started changing instruction styles, and I absolutely hated the then newer style that had increased boldness in the outlines, which especially made Technic instructions more of a pain to read.
Yes, older Lego sets were for children, not whiny adults. As a child, you rotated the piece, found out that the only logical way is to put it there, and you went on... If you build a Lego set nowadays, half of your build time is turning pages. In the older days one page showed nearly every new piece that is (more or less) visible from that specific viewpoint on the picture.
666 Lego mario
These are all just errors and misprints. Not a single instance of rule breaking or 'illegal builds' were shown.
Dude. Did you not watch the other 2? What did you expect?
Its still entertaining, if you would like to look at illegal builds be more specific. The title should be changed though to be fair in your defense.
thanks for not wasting my time with the video man
did you read the start of the video?
Thatâs how u clickbait lol
An issue with the new Lego Indominus Rex vs. Ankylosaurs set is that they have Zach and Gray's names switched on the box.
"very much impossible" me with a superglue:
The thing I hate about stickers are the ones which overlap multiple bricks. Makes it really difficult/annoying when demolition of something to build again.
That last one: i have build with the old instructions style when i was young and now i build with the new style.
What is wrong with paying attention and learning 3D visualisation while having Lego fun????
New style instructions are a waste of paper and ink with soooo many steps only involving one piece after one piece after one piece, itâs insane and minddumbing!!!
They were also not dark or overly contrasty, that's just bad scans ruining image quality lol.
And additional to the 1-step instructions the box says: "to build this set you need to be at least 25, have 15 years of experience, a degree and a grown up to help you"
i loved the old building instructions
Very much agreed! I noticed this also in reviews of the latest Technic sets, where even the tiny 42116 Skid Steer Loader with just 140 parts has over 60 pages of instructions. I still wonder how on earth I ever could have successfully built the big 8865 Test Car back in the day as a 10 year old kid from instructions in just 24 steps. The booklet has just 36 pages in total for the A-model, a B-model, _and_ instructions how to motorize that B-model. It's pure madness!
Some of the old Technic sets that were very big were almost impossible to understand.

This has been a long awaited Threequel
It's not just the torso that's wrong in the instructions for building the battle droid in the Droid Gunship set. They also have you place the left arm upside down, with the thicker shoulder clip being portrayed as a hand for some reason.
Not a disagreement, the pommel has vertical ridges, and the rings around the center column go towards the blade. Modeled after Obi-Wan's saber if that helps.

2:30 I like how baby Yoda is just called ''The Child''
12:05 The droid also has both arms in different orientations. One arm is upside down
A few years ago, I got a nexo knights set, the siege machine of doom thingy, I think it was called, but at the back of the 2nd instruction booklet, it had a page showcasing all the characters you could get in the same wave of sets, but all the names were messed up. Axl was labeled as âlanceâ, clay was labeled as âAaronâ, and so on.
I wish good luck to the ones that are participating in the give away

Well for the Trolls World Tour chair note you can always go ahead and decide to The Lego Movie dad it up with some glue. I would recommend this but with people who want there real lego sets and not mix matched bionicles which are really cool and better than some official designs I would not. Also who would think that the video about things being wrong or missing something, missed something. The diver suit guy in the instructions has a scared face, but the one in the picture on the left had a confident face instead. Haha
DOUBLE LEGO SET!!!!!
Physics: *exists*
Lego: *hold my mistakes*
On the 6:14 one, I think I know what happened:
The top left set is correct, and has a reasonable price of $40, but the bottom right one is now a 4+ set, with an incredibly cheap price of $10. There is a juniors set smaller than this set but with a similar theme, so the catalog designers just put that image there because the set names were too alike. Thatâs just my thoughts.
But Is Lego Catalog đ
I remember a LEGO Power Miners set, the mech from the lava theme, having a sticker put on upside down on the box and it always irritated me as a kid haha
Loved the **TRIGGERED** box :)
"This set is from 2004, the oldest in this list" at this moment i felt old
I FOUND A SET THAT BREAKS THE RULES!!
In the LEGO Creator Space Rover Explorer, set 31107, on page 213 step 3 its has you lay down 6 pieces
2 pages later on page 216, it instructs you to lay down those exact same pieces again despite the pieces already having been layed down, there is no where else for the pieces to go since they are already on the set and the previous pages image is the exact same as the one it is instructing you to add pieces to!
I remember an mistake in a LEGO magazine when I was young. In a Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire set, Mad Eye Moody was labelled "One Eyed Willy"
I think for the diver, the grey on his arm is like chain armor, like if you went diving with sharks you would wear some armor in case if a shark bites you. This is just what I think and I donât know if itâs the true reason
Love these vids. They are hilarious!
I found a phantom arrow on page 103 of the Lego TV from the Nintendo set 71374. The yellow arrow continues on the pages as far as as you can see it, until a piece covers where it was. Also on the same booklet on page 186 and 187 it shows the wrong printing for the red shell brick. I would like to see a part four, that would be great!
I actually have that Battle On Takodana set. It's one of my favorites. Probably because The Force Awakens is so special to me.
11:13 why would you read some instructions from far away? lol đ
4:28 I'm pretty sure that's a mistake on the box, rather than on the instructions
11:49 the droid has a 2nd error. The left arm is "upside down". It doesn't really matter a lot but I guess the thicker end should be the shoulder as it is on the right arm.
yeah I noticed that too
Yes I noticed that as well . Interesting
Well actually it's just being more in a natural position, if you're holding something with your hand your wrist will be like 90° turned. I don't think this was an error
@@shitmanlore it's not about the turn of the "hand" on his right hand but about the thick end of the left arm. They habe the thick and as hand and the thin one as shoulder. There is no turn. ;-)
@@MCtheAustrianBrickfan yea got it but from my prospective, it just looks more realistic in that way
11:49 The droids left arm is upside down too. Very nice
Yeah. I remember building the sand crawler. What an absolute nightmare.
I would love a part 4 and I never knew lego made so many mistakes

Lego pieces: put in
Still Lego pieces: THE BACKROOMS
The only 'incorrect set' I can personally remember is a walking AT-AT that my friend had been gifted. For whatever reason, an entire set of leg pieces was literally melted into a plastic blob. Not one whole blob, but several individual blobs. He couldn't ever finish the set because of this, as the replacement part service hadn't started yet or was poorly advertised, and ended up giving it to me since I had more Lego than he did. Heh.
Ive never heven seen or heard of anything like that!

Ah yes, classic situational awareness test: double Lego set!
I've had this LEGO set that had a lot of mistakes!
It was the LEGO movie 2 statue of liberty one and the art work on the box on the back shows you that the bottom floor has a coffee shop and the coffee shops floors are gray but when I open the box the floors and pieces are suddenly brown and I've seen videos talking about it to!
Also on the instruction book there is an arrow that is just hanging there.... A Phantom Arrow!

I LOVE THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS AND THAT YOUR POSTING EVEN MORE THIS MONTH!!! I LOVE YOUR VIDS THERE JUST AWESOME! :)
I got a Piraka Stronghold set where there was 2 pages that had misprinted instructions, meaning an insert with the 2 pages printed correctly was included in the book.
Iâve had that problem happened to me before on that first Star Wars one
It's interesting that Lego box *with offset printing error* might actually be more wanted collector item than the box with perfect print. For e.g. baseball cards, the card with fully *correct* printing are so rare that they are the collector items.
8:38, I actually remember getting this lego set and being super frustrated with this part since it said 2 of the cockpit windows but only one is needed and in there
