it's really good how mart has improved.
he's gotten a little 𝒻𝒶𝓃𝒸𝒾𝑒𝓇 with his usage of his voice.
also i'm pretty sure motherload has a non-flash version called super motherload.

A moment of silence for all the epic Flash games that we used to play and couldn't remember the name of.
@@zhankazest Yeah i remember that one aswell, they did one for ww1 and ww2, that game was the shit
@@philiph6819 i wish i could remember the name since i have flashpoint and maybe its on there.
For realll hahaha
@@zhankazest I have two. There was one that was like an action shooter with a top down view and you could like edit your loadout with a few different gun options (I remember there being a Webley, a gauss rifle, and a napalm thrower), and another one that took place in WWII and it was kinda like a tower defense but instead you had a battle line where you could put pillboxes and machine gun emplacements and shit within a certain budget and I think you could also attack Idk
@@isaiahkoufos3573 i think i know the general theme of the names of those, i think its something like Infinite War or something like that

Here before this comment gets thousands of likes, anyhoo hows your evening?
Here before this blows up
ohhhh fuck yes.......SFH is a fucking great series.....but 2nd and 3rd just didnt have that loveable character that you play as. I like the jokes made tho...
This is so much calmer than his current stuff. Like the editing has the same energy, but he sounds so tired
The strike force heroes series, SAS series, Raze series, TDP series, Decision series, sift heads series and endless war series were all games i used to play on armor / kongregate when i was younger lol,
There were also those games that later got added to steam or got their own launchers like uberstrike (if im remembering the name right RIP that game), interstellar marines when it had a website player (RIP again), the fake counter strike games and the begone series that almost never worked even with everything installed. Not all of these are flash but they are from the flash era and i miss all of them.
The fact Swords and Sandals isn’t on this list hurts my soul.
Ikr its so underrated
I can't believe Madness Interactive wasn't on here either.... that was AMAZING.
It's in the hidden SS tier. (get it cause Swords and Sandals is SS... ok I'll stop)
Never mentioned Raze or LEGO crystalien conflict, my personal favorites other than stick wars

The sad thin is, most of these games (even the D tier ones) are way better than most mobile games today ; - ;
There are still some good mobile games if you look hard enough, like Jetpack joyride, Colossatron (oh wait it’s gone from the app store) and pogocat (though it’s not well known)
@@Lucian4694 Agreed, except while not all Mobile Games are horrible, they can still play their crappy ads on the actually good ones. You play Jetpack Joyride and try to watch an ad for extra stuff, you'd still get some bullshit game ad that might not be meant to be watched by all ages.

Crush the Castle
Hopefully this brought back some memories!
Thank you so much! Thanks to your comment, I rediscovered City Siege! God bless you!
Also the ice cream truck game
Where you shoot kids with ice cream guns
Also Strike Force Heroes
Yo, there were a few more games like the stick war/epic war/age of war.
The first is a game where you had the same epic war action, it had a lord of the rings theme, you were fighting orcs/dragons to reach and destroy the enemy base, u could upgrade your castle with archers and wizards.
The second one is also similar, it had like skeletons fighting, i remember it being called bone wars or something but i couldnt find it.
And the last one was kind of a "from above" pov with a similar action, 2 bases, spawning units and gathering gold and there was like a cartoony wild west theme with swords, flint guns etc.
Any idea how they re called?

Flash Wars and Flashtrek Broken Mirror were so awesome that I wish their respective IP holders would have paid the devs to make them official licensed games.
Also those 2d strategy games were cool
I also remember an awesome base defense game that was top-down and looked like Starship Troopers but as one guy who had to build up the base as the waves progress.
Motherload was absolutely iconic in our elementary school. Every time we got to use computers, the entire class would try to beat it
You could not understand the amount of nostalgia I got hearing Age Of War's music at the start of the video. I used to play that game so much as a kid. Good times
Fun fact: the song is glorious morning by waterflame
Same... Man, why did they die... Nah, not that bad but nostalgia is there
That sound brought back memories i never forgot

It was one bready fun game among over 100 games I played as kid with Ipad.
That sad feeling when no fancy pants adventure.
lol
That was the shit
czcams.com/video/8rKFXtiBUKo/video.html
Yeah wtf
How the frick did he miss that gem
my tactic in age of war 2 is to let them come very close to my tower, then spam ranged units. if they are close enough, all the ranged units spawn on each other and thus all of them are in range to shoot at the enemies and you can have like 10 ranged guys shooting at one enemy at once.
This was awesome 😂 I would have also added swords and saddles along with bubble tanks
The thing I remember best about Swords and Sandals is the sound design. All of the sounds of the clanging against armor, the shouting you did in combat, hell even the sounds the shopkeepers made when you didn't buy anything when you left their stores is nostalgic.
An awesome series of games

Pretty upset about interactive buddy being D tier honestly.
I know there's not much to it and the whole point is just to get sadistic pleasure from bringing harm to the buddy but I just have this vivid memory from when I was like 8 or 9 playing this with a friend at a sleepover and laughing absolutely hysterically for hours on end.
Like think laughing so hard it actually made a lasting impression on me strong enough to vividly remember it almost 20 years later.
Interactive Buddy will always have a special place in my apparently sadistic little heart.❤ RIP Flash.
I remember playing so many of these. I found so many of em while searching through flash point. Decision, tequila zombies, zombotron etc.

My favourite was Defend Your Castle, where you start out by just throwing attackers in the air and them falling and splatting to the ground
Oh I remember that! And it seems like it would be easy, but it got really difficult over time.
there was another game exactly like cart hero, but have no idea what its called. similar premise, just more massive upgrades and higher flight lol.

There were 2 games I loved playing on the school computer. Paladog, a game that plays like age empires, but you are a dog on a horse, and when you walk closer to your units, they get empowermed, and you could equip I think 3 passive and one active power. It was super satisfying, when your empowered bunny archers shot an arrow through all enemies, or when the empowermed kangaroo boxers fired a bunch of hits. Unfortunately I can't find a way to play it, all downloadable flash ports were disguised ads.
Sadly, I don't remember the name of the other one, but I remember the game vividly. You had to construct a mecha, and defeat enemies in a turn based fight. You saw the battle sideways, and you had 2 actions, but one of that was likely moving, because all weapons had different minimum or maximum range, so you needed to position well. All moves could only be used once in a round, and some weapons could only be used twice in a fight. You got all your weapons randomly, so in each game, you had a different mecha. Later in the game, you had a teleport move, which helped with the positioning, especially if you had melee weapons, but it used a lot of energy, which regenerated based on the body of the mecha you were using, and because I got ones that had bad energy regen, I preferred to use a track shoe, which didn't have a kick attack, but could nearly match the lenght of teleport. Also, you had to be aware of heavy weapons, because you could overheat and miss a round. If you didn't need a body part, you could melt it to enhance other parts.
I loved these 2 games. If someone knows how to play Paladog, or what the name of the second game is, I would greatly appreciate it.
ive been trying to find that exact second game for years
Well, this certainly was nostalgic. I remember playing Motherlode many MANY years ago, and even some of these other ones. Sometimes I would play them at school during our computer lab hours - using random URL proxies I got via email subscription lists to get around school filters on the game websites. N of course is also great (has a version, N++, with far more content for a low price on platforms like Steam, I recommend giving it a shot).
I could never beat it because I never played more than 30 minutes at a time. This was the first time I’ve seen the ending… I didn’t even know it had plot
@@T9K66 I never beat it either. I don't recall the plot, I just recall digging. It was fun for what it was.

Two words -- Exit Path
There was a secret society who turned that game into an eSport before it was cool with modded lobbies/custom maps and all sorts of cool stuff, some guys would invent all kinds of crazy moves based around exploiting the game physics and turn it into its own meta within the group

im currently 13, and having an Xbox One and a nintendo switch, i still prefer to play flash games instead of using the consoles lel
motherfucker 13 year olds today dont know what flash games are, they've been replaced by mobile games
@@theawfultrumpeter8538 honestly it will be cool to think about. "Back in my days, ai in games wasnt even sentient and not even the best games could simulate every particle, the games were only gigabytes in size, we still used keyboard and mouse, on our old windows 11."
Some asshole in my class told me "I wasn't rotting with flash games because I was rich and had a console". Also he calls himself "based" because he didn't play a single flash game.
as soon as i saw that blue ball, the flashbacks begun
I remember this blocky zombie flash game I used to play with my friend, one keyboard. SO much fun
Boxhead

I used to play a lot of games from Newgrounds and armor games, but today i can just go and download ´´Flashpoint Infinity´´, and just download whatvever you like.
Nice video martin, keep it up.
With that Flashpoint, you can play some games again.
It is shame, i dont see on your list more than 5 games i know and like, but personally i like sonny, earn to die, Tequila zombies, Warlords 2 the rise of Demons, Territory war, Johny rocketfingers , Crush the Castle, Road of the Dead, Warfare 1917 / 1944 , Sword & Souls, some of those games are on steam, but some older games, are only on this Flashpoint, enjoy playing them once more.
My man forgot the absolute bangers that were the "Sift Heads" games, but this was still a solid video.
Brro I looked for this so hard😭 also the armed with wings and the rogue soul series, there's just lots I can't mention them here
