Actually the MOST impressive thing is his uncanny ability to jump in his vocal registers.
Singing in a language you don't speak is not really that difficult. I've sung in French, Spanish and Latin and I speak nothing but English.
But to be able to jump registers like he does!!!

aside from him being seated, there are 2 other important factors that must be stated: 1) Neither English nor Italian are his first languages. 2) He grew up in the streets with no parents which meant no vocal training or classes.
English and Tagalog are the speaking languages in the Philippines very common for Filipinos to speak and sing English songs . Incredible talented
@@justinlawdon9611 While that is true for most cases, he's literally one of the few who aren't that proficient in actually speaking English as proficient as one would think, as he wouldn't be needing an interpreter to convey the things he's saying to English speakers despite being able to understanding it well. Like when he went to some shows like the Ellen DeGeneres show back then, and some other shows back then. He's getting better now though.

From one voice to another seamlessly. Singing a duet with himself. He is absolutely amazing and his voice is gorgeous.
He is just absolutely astounding, there's not too many people that could even attempt to do what he does. I can think of one other off the top of my head that could probably do this as well as he does and that's Dimash, I'd love to hear him sing both parts of this song, I'd bet he could master it as well, he's certainly got the voice for it, but other than him I can't think of a single other person right now with the range or the ability to so effortlessly switch between all those octaves! Just amazing and stunning! And to think that he literally came from the streets, basically an orphan since he was a young boy, and had this kind of talent. He said he would sing as a child when he was sad or afraid being alone but he had no other training of any kind. Just goes to show that amazing talent can be found anywhere and everywhere!
I agree. With you. Yeah Dimash can sing the high notes more than him Marcelito, but what I would like to say is that Marcelito sings nicely as he possesses the quality of a soft voice an Angelic one.
You can find a lot of this in the philippines but Marcelito is really top of them all.

Marcelito is indeed amazing. He is a Contralto. Mirriam-Webster's dictionary defines a Contralto as, "Definition of contralto 1a : a singing voice having a range between tenor and mezzo-soprano" Very rare, but many accapella groups have at least one guy with that range. Takes a lot of disipline, but the voice is actually natural and not a falsetto at all, which makes it even more amazing. That's really something!

What a out of this world voice it reminds me of another voice that had the same effect on me that of Australian Singer song writer he only sings in his native language and was blind from birth and plays a guitar upside down and back to front he is self taught. The wonders of this new technology allows us to get to know these wonderful people and hear them.
