    It’s Manouche Time in Olive and Oregano bake house, the owners decided to open it about a year and 3 months ago to spread let the culture, the food and the tradition run through their children. This baker has an innovative Manouche, Zaatar and cheese twisted from the middle to the outside with rocket leaves, cheese and grape molasse.
    Piccolo me is another success story, Halim Al hachem from Damour and his two sons Roy and Charlie are behind the success of this family business, you can drink good coffee and have gourmet sandwiches and burgers in a positive atmosphere. For now, they have 47 branches in New South Wales but the plan is to open 200 branches by 2025.
    Next is Fettayleh Foods, they started in selling Cold cuts and now they are working in a 6000m2 facility, they export also to Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait
    I was really blessed and honored to visit and film the preparations for the Western Sydney Airport which will be open for public in 2026, it opens 24l7 with 2 terminals, 1 local and 1 international. We met also the mayor of Liverpool Council, the next biggest city in Austarlia with the new airport being built.
    Back to Abby’s patties a food truck opened in February 2022, owned by Abir Mkahal from Jebjenine who was a teacher before covid and now she runs this family business, the menu is diversified, burgers, sandwiches, falafel, all the items are cooked with the perfect ingredients.

    The Issue with Lebanese in Australia about not speaking Arabic, it's the parents fault. You need to tell the parents to teach their children Arabic Lebanese to keep the language alive. For example the Dad At Piccolo was speaking the whole time in English why didn't he speak Arabic? His children don't speak Arabic because he did not teach them how to speak it. So all Lebanese parents in Australia it is so important to teach your kids Arabic. Wa akhiran at the end 7eke 3arabe. Amazing video and episode as always. I love the lady at Abbies Patty, she has a beautiful soul and amazing person. Good luck to her business with the best success ever. She has a heart of Gold.

      It is very difficult to maintain a language from generation to generation, if you don't use it day to day (at home, at school, at work, at shops etc). For Muslims since the Quran is preserved in the original Arabic we have a religious obligation to learn to read, write and speak Arabic, which is why Muslims are very dedicated to teaching their children Arabic. However, even most of the 2nd/3rd generation Lebanese Muslim community has struggled to pass on the language, and most people know very few words and have a limited ability to understand Arabic when it is spoken to them. Unfortunately it will be impossible to preserve the language in Western countries like Australia, and in 50-100 years it will be completely gone. But I do agree parents need to work harder to try and teach their children the language, at a minimum the ability to understand and speak it.

    • @zuzangelo007
      @zuzangelo007 Před rokem

      @Al Shāmī I disagree it is very possible to speak Arabic at home and English in school and maintain the Arabic language for generations to come. There is also Arabic school and if you are Muslim or Christian or Druze or anything else you can 100% keep the language alive. There is ways and it's not difficult at all. Ne7na we do it so can everyone else. It's not hard at all.

    • @alshami7456
      @alshami7456 Před rokem

      @@zuzangelo007 Exceptions don't make the rule, in general most Lebanese don't see the benefit or need to learn the language, other than a few words they pickup, the actual language will be forgotten, this is the reality. If the Lebanese in lebanon are now using more and more foreign words in their day to day to speaking, and now write arabic using english letters, it just shows that in today's world it is very difficult to preserve the language. In 100 years time if you come back to Australia, will you find a few people that still know how to speak Arabic? Yes, most likely, but will more than 90% know only a couple of words? Yes. And we can already see this today.

    • @zuzangelo007
      @zuzangelo007 Před rokem

      @Al Shāmī again I disagree with you. In Lebanon people speak 3 languages for so so long since the French occupation and the people at home still speak read and write fluent Arabic. Again you are making it sound so impossible yet it is easy and very possible. It is the parents responsibility to teach their kids and speak Arabic at home. There is nothing difficult about it and no in 100 years the Arabic language will improve and become better and jelye al 3arabiye is not going anywhere and it's here to stay. You are assuming so wrong and your mind set isn't positive about the Arabic language that it is possible to keep it alive In Australia. It is very possible

      @@zuzangelo007 I agree with you. It is easy for children to pick up more than one language at the same time. I know several kids who know 3 languages. If parents speak the mother language at home & another language is taught at school, kids can retain several languages at once. But a lot of immigrants think it is better to learn only 1 language (language of immigrant country) inorder to integrate more into the new country.
