Day 5 in Sydney starts at Pepe Saya atelier, one of the most important butters in the world and made with the highest quality products, it is an Australian butter made in Sydney by Lebanese owner Pierre Issa. We made a tour in the factory where the magic happens, 250.000 pieces of butter are made on a daily basis and distributed around the world.
Success stories continue, with Dr Doumit Azar, we talked about his journey in Australia, surgeries, and how we can help Lebanon, and we filmed an eye surgery called cataract live from surgery room.
For Lunch we visited Jbeil Bakery, it is a Lebanese restaurant with a very classy, modern and upscaled decor. The menu is traditional Labneh, hummus, tabbouleh, kibbeh but in an advanced twist. Non-lebanese can visit this place to enjoy our culture, colors and generosity.
Next stop at Nader Jewellers to pick a nice gift for my wife Nell, and my daughter Enya.
A religious visit to St Charbel church that gathers all the Lebanese community, we talked to priest Asaad Lahoud who talked about the relation between St Charbel and the visitors of the church, addig to the church they have a school with 1200 students and 150 workers and nursing home with 90 beds.
Seasweet is still growing, and tonight is the opening of the 5th branch in Australia, the baklava is crunchy, low sugar and fresh and the knefeh is genuinely good.
For dinner we made a visit to our friend Gebran who opened a new Japanese restaurant with a top notch sushi, Gebran also created his whisky brand made in Tasmania
