Having had a couple (3 because one of them involved complications and I had to have further invaders in my belly😮) of surgeries to my abdominal region to take a gallbladder out and part of the liver as well… I am not quite fifty years old but oh wow I was really down for the count and I was also going through some rough patches in my marriage and my God I am grateful that I am just anonymous city comparatively…
I spoke to someone 25 years my junior, who had a similar surgery that I had and she said she was down for three weeks before she could really even move around. And the recovery time was far slower and more painful than giving birth either time. But what was going on in my private life was very painful , I can’t imagine what Kate was to be feeling to have a bunch of strangers in both sides of the ocean speculating. I wish her strength and peace and healing whatever she is facing or has faced.❤

I don’t think this is an attack on Catherine but rather the opposite. Megyn even said she didn’t think there was a photo taken but a picture made up of several different photos. That would be on William who, by the way, was supposed to have
been the one taking the picture. If the Palace were upfront & honest there wouldn’t be so many questions. People are genuinely concerned about Catherine’s health. She’s not been seen for months. The taxpayers pay £1.67 a year to the sovereign grant and parliament takes the crown Estates income from the Royal family every year and gives them back a portion to enable them to function, the rest of the money comes from the duchy of Lancaster which is the private property of the king. I don’t know why I’m telling you any of this. Exactly ! Finally an American using her correct name 😂 I’ve had major surgery to and have taken months to recover especially the abdomen as they cut through layers and layers just to get through the stomach then if you get an infection it takes even longer to recover !

She's a public figure. People who are asking about her, are concerned over her wellbeing. Remember Princess DIana (I Loved Her). Why would they need to put out a fake photo with lots of photoshopped errors?? Why not maybe put a real photo or short video of her thanking everyone for thinking of her and letting them know she's recovering and will soon be well enough to resume her role? If Kate had “planned abdominal surgery” it might be that as part of her recovery she is currently using a colostomy bag that will in a few months be reversed. Three to four months of recovery would then make sense. She could also be on prednisone which would make her face look “ puffy” …. I wish her a safe and speedy recovery. It cannot be easy and I think she is entitled to her privacy

Kate needs privacy! My sister was in the limelight in the 1960's after she broke her first World Record at the age of 12. After this WR, she broke 18 World Records untill the age of 17. My mother protected our family from the press. I think Kate are a thousand times more in the limelight!! I feel so sorry for her. What the press did to Diana, stay on my mind! That is not a life for any human being.
I had major abdominal emergency surgery 2yrs ago and spent 2 weeks in hospital, then convalescence at home for 6-8mths coming to terms with all the changes that were happening to my body. So I fully understand the wanting of privacy and solitude. All my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. God Bless.
Don’t know what surgery you had? But I’ve had 2 c sections, an open procedure hysterectomy and a sigmoid colon resection (ie removal), I was up and about after 6 weeks for each. After my first c section I was back in work after 3 months. This must be something catastrophic.
Everyone is different and handles surgery differently. We all have different bodies!

Oh my gosh, Kate could have had a female surgery like a Hysterectomy! Fact is many women her age have one especially if they’re having painful monthly Menstrual problems and too much bleeding, which could be caused from things like endometriosis, polyps, a tumor, etc and if they’re not planning on having anymore children doctors advise to remove the uterus. It’s her business!..it would be no different than woman taking sick leave from their jobs to take care of a medical issue and recover after surgery!

I also had major abdominal surgery several years ago. My surgeon told me I would feel like I'd been run over by a mac truck. Which it was! 17 days in hospital, and many months of recovery, but so worth it! I get checked once a year and so far no sign of more problems, after 7 years. Catherine will recover!
