I use to watch your videos and feel the sea calling me with a gut wrenching desire to be sailing. Now I am so thankful I got to spend 3 years at sea on my own boat and realize it's so much more of a difficult life than I could have imagined. I am now done with my journey at sea and ready to begin my journey by land. I'll enjoy watching your sea adventures James while remembering it's more difficult than it appears! Stay the awesome dude that you are!
Thanks amigo!!
Awesome man, purely awesome! Glad to see you back on the waves.
Now I know who to contact when I need lessons in regards to sailing on the big blue ocean. I really enjoy how you interact and guide the audience with what is happening. Thanks.
Loved the technical instruction. It looks like the bigger your boat the smoother your ride. And fast
InstaBlaster...
Love this. I used to sit and watch the boatswain mates practice their knots on the mess deck
James! Your vídeos are awesome! I know sometimes it’s a pain the film everything, all the time editing etc! But you really make a great job out of it! Not only for the editing but most important in terms of content!!! You make everyone happy here when a new video is uploaded!! Congrats amigo!!! Cheers from Brazil!!
I love it. Clean, good comments, good sense of humor, not cocky.
Real. Some of those sailing vlogs push so much hype.
I liked all the details around what went wrong and needed fixing and how they found them I learnt a lot from that. But the whole trip was fascinating and a story well told. Thank you all.
Awesome job my freind fair winds ......your moms house looks like where i grew up in Orange.
Next time you drive thru the Burg. Im buying lunch.
Safe travels and I look forward to following you on this adventure. Stay safe my friend!
Awesome, you’re the man! I love zingaro! Thank you for the content!
Man, this was awesome. As a total landlubber whose been looking to start sailing (looking for a dinghy or class), I’m blown away by how many skills it seems to take to go cruising. Diesel mechanic, electrician, etc
Geez, I thought I knew stuff but the accumulated knowledge for a few of you on this boat is off the charts.
Wow, super cool video and what an amazing Ol’ Girl of a boat. Love how you guys all work as a team. You’d be the perfect crew to be onboard with, with all that sailing knowledge.
Well, that was a blast man, thanks for sharing. Keep safe brother.
You make everything appear to be part of your DNA. Your knowledge of sailing and all the ins and outs is impressive. I look forward to seeing what comes next after Zingaro. Fair Winds, Following Seas.
Awesome!! Thank you for taking us along ✌️
Right at the end watching the young lady snuggle up next to dad was the sweetest thing! Great vid!!
this is super exciting! sailing is super unpredictable! glad you guys are so seaworthy!
ABSOLUTELY love this series! Well produced! Good Job!
Amazing. Great trip. On my bucket list but the other way round 😂⛵️🎣
I love your channel been watching since the beginning. I can’t wait till you get your new boat.
Yes indeed!!
Awesome Video. I really looking forward for the next one.
Awesome as always, thank you you for the content!
Really enjoyed every minute of this video.
Great adventure. !!! I know nothing about sailing, but I follow all of your videos and truly enjoy them. I learn a good bit along the way. Look forward to some more real sailing stuff.
Good that you spend time with your mother 🤗. Shes such a special lady like all our mothers. Stay blessed and i hope to see more of her on your channel

You sure have come a long way since you started this channel. Very impressed with your achievements on the water.
For someone with no sailing experience I found this to be very educational Thanks!
Hey Jsmes enjoyed the video as usual. Awesome job fixing the lines up the mast.
Hell ya Sailn! Keep simple, hard, keep it coming!!!
What an awesome adventure you had on this trip!
Good video on boat maintenance, also I like your intro with your Mom, love that, I miss my mom.
You can't just break into a fabulous dramatic adventure without telling us where ins Kimmi. It's like Laural and Hardy, Amos and Andy, Batman and Robin.
Would really like to see a tour of this boat.
What an awesome video James!!! Thanks for sharing the trip bro 🙏
You bet
This episode rocks! The blown pupil was freaking hilarious!
So fair winds and following seas
Cheers from Southern California USA ~
Awesome video! I’ve been watching you for quite some time and I have to admit I’m kind of glad you’re off that rag tag Zingaro and moving on. IMOyou ran boat into the sea (ground for sure, you had me worried for you and Kim at times. Can’t wait to see what’s up with your future with the next catamaran. This video really shows how intense the technicality is of sailing a boat like that across the Pacific, and you definitely seem to have met your match and are conquering it! Fun to watch! Can’t wait for the next one…👍👏
This must have been one off the nicest sailing vids I ever watched. No pretence just real sailing ...with real problems and real fun ..dubble thumps up..
Awesome adventure. Well edited. Loved it, thanks for posting!
Absolutely loved it. Also, the red haired chap reminds me so much of the guy from Holes who watches over the kids as they work. Not Mr. Sir but the other dude. Any way, fantastic work! Loved the whole thing.
What a fantastic video all the way through.
My first time on subscribing to the channel with this being my first video.
Middle of the Pacific. "Hey guys I got a great idea. Let's take the stays off"...sheer genius.
Oh Boy, that run from Hawaii up North is always interesting... great video James!
Paul - I remember coming back north from Hilo laying in the bunk ALL NIGHT with every blanket and all the clothes I had and shivering all dark cold night.
wow , out of san diego! shelter island was where the island eagle called home. happy sailing! enjoy
That was your best sailing video ever. Well done.
Great video! This is as close as I will ever get to sailing, I would need 50 patches behind my ears .... enjoying your ride!
I am a carpenter and do a bunch of calking and i use windex and that works better than licking your finger if you are doing a lot of calking.
Larry Hill I could not believe he was touching his lips! We use windex or a small cup of water 💧
windex or soapy water.....in Oz.....plumber....spit in the olden days......
James it was way cool to check in daily to the Predict Wind position of TeVega. At one point it looked like you were headed through the Bering Sea! Great episode with a great boat and better crew, Cheers!
You would be an asset on any expedition, land or sea. Hope to see you and Kimi on your own boat soon.
Just AWESOME Content and in 4K no less!!
Excellent video full of a lot of great information. Thanks!
Love it...only missing one thing...😍
Love these passage videos!

Nice one! I enjoyed that. Thanks for posting.
It's like a great TV series...... cant wait to see what will happen next...............

He's a lot more inspiring with Kimmie! Lol
@@ronniehdable WHAAAAAAT!....yeah but Kimmi's got the looks...she the mermaid

The green flash! seen it ones! Was so awsome. But soo clear sunset is needed!
Good to see you back .
James, this video is awesome, really extraordinary. To have 3 experienced sailors as crew - wow. And you are a great storyteller. Relly well done. :¬) Webhead USA
Pitcairn video followed by this is some seriously epic sailing. Keep it up.
Came to see sailing related info and got a knot tying lesson as a bonus. Cheers! 😁👍
man great vid most sailing videos have a lot of slo-mo shots of their feet while you explain different aspects of sailing, two thumbs up dude.
This video makes a welcome change from the usual sailing video that I get in my suggested list on CZcams
Wonderful....Great Adventure......Happy....Safe and Healthy Sails.....Amen
James, you inspired awe in me....your expertise, demeanor, and positive attitude...wow...."wish I were more like you!"....oh, well, at least I get to watch ;)
Many thanks....only a sailing blog that takes its viewers along with them by explaining yachting terms,
thereby teaching viewers as you cruise along...many thanks!
Thank you for demonstrating the fireman’s carry knot. I was trying to remember that one and couldn’t.
Love all the instructional stuff
That's some serious knot-tying prowess!
Great video, I installed the thruster, watermaker, and electronics on her in 2008 when she was named Wind Catcher and owner by Robin. I have S/V Aviner 63 Mason Hull #1. They only made six 63's
you have a awesome crew on that boat and that sailfish is good eating
My Wife went to school on the steel hull 137' 1930 schooner Te Vega in the 70's... Caught my eye when I saw this ketch was also named Te Vega....!!
Go for it they need your knowledge Plus you can make it interesting too good luck be safe.
Such a great video.. MAKE MoRE!!!
The staysail is your friend, use it more, especially in stronger winds when you are reefed. Put out a bit of the jib if you must. Jib for lighter wind, staysail for stronger. Drop the main if it gets really strong and run the mizzen and staysail only, perfect balance on a Mason, I have sailed a few. Aloha, D.
got to agree, personally....but they were truckin pretty comfortably how they were configured....mizzen and staysail are your friend on a ketch.
@@pearlyshells2430 They were moving well but too much up front overworks the auto pilot
Lovely boat, my all time choice of blue water cruising boat, center cockpit ketch, so many sail configurations o choose from and from the safety of the center cockpit. Real nice
Just started watching and had to say thank you...now back to your excellent video..Super Ono
Very interesting. Very informative. Thank you.
Great video. That is a beautiful boat.
hell yea bro!!
I like that shirt you had on during dinner!!
totally stoked
!!
Thanks for that, brother! I'm representing!
Sailing Zingaro always !!!
This was phenomenal. A little personal. A lot informative.
Beautiful boat and great movie 👏👏👏👏👏
Looked Like GOOD fun with Great People!!!! I Wish I Would have done that instead of Selling my Sailboat in Hawaii.....THANKS for Sharing!!!!
I think you sailed past our home on Kauai several weeks ago. It’s not often we see a boat like yours so we filmed it for an IG story. 🌺
I pickup ar least 1 or 2 loads of Double D's from michigan where theyre made and take then to north carolina. This year i even picked up a semi load of transmissions for the DD's. Awesome engines.
The butterfly testicle hitch, a new one on me! Great video
This crew and owner were lucky to have a dude of your experience on board for this crossing.
Just let the boat take you wherever. I just let it fly. She will always get you home, might scare ya a little bit, but experience comes when you get scared over and over. Every time you become more experienced. I’ve been around the world many times. I can’t remember how many, but I remember it all.
