- Vicky Cilliers is the victim at the heart of one of Britain’s most notorious crime stories, that has gripped many for almost a decade. Vicky took part in a parachute jump, a gift from her husband, and her life changed forever when both her main and reserved parachutes failed and she plummeted 4,000 feet to the ground at 100mph. Despite sustaining life-threatening injuries she survived, living to eventually find out this was her husband's second attempt of murdering her. Today, nine years after the horrific event took place, Vicky joins us to reveal in her own words what happened that day. Vicky will also be sharing where her life is now, , and how she is looking to the future after finding love again with a new partner.

I’m guess you have never been a victim of anything this horrific. Here is a maybe you didn’t consider. Maybe she agreed to being on the show but couldn’t bring herself to share the story in her own words. Maybe she hasn’t healed enough yet. Maybe she asked for them to assist her through it because she wanted to share her story to help someone else. You don’t know where she’s at emotionally and I hope you never do.
Exactly why I came here. To all out the 50 year history of the media making men look worse and worse and worse and worse. This has given women political power OVER men. It's messed up our culture, and made NO one happy.

Yeah, these interviewers are *terrible*. Constant interruption. It's rude in any situation, but especially with such a delicate and traumatic story.
Well, in my opinion, this woman had nothing to say. She was mute. She did not make a good guest, and was almost unbearable from a televised interviewer's point of view. If they had her on, this was the best of the possible scenarios.
Golden rule of Loose Women, never let your guest do the talking.

yeah i know what you mean but mabye she agreed to go on but possible with an agreement about amount of details to protect her and her family though maybe she should of said that or the presenters - so the audience were clear

This Lady would never accept he was guilty for year's and refused to accept it even when confronted by the police so I'm pleased this Lady has come out the other side.
How do you know that to be true? In this "interview" she says that she choose to lie out of fear for her safety if she helped to convict him. She was not well informed by law enforcement, was healing from traumatic injuries and feared for what he might do to her. She seems like an extremely intelligent woman.

This was a very unstructured and "loose" interview, tbh...
What a horrible man ! I am so glad she survived and has found a beautiful new life .
I’d love to know the details of how she managed to not get killed in the jump and what she told police about the gas incident.
There are other videos about this. I just cannot remember the channels. But I watched them like a year or so ago.

18 years to life, He will have to serve 18 years before he's even considered for parole, most likely will not get out.
That's only the minimum sentence before he even can be considered for parole. His actual sentence is life imprisonment

She should have been allowed to tell her story. Christine in particular was quite bad - rambling on with the questions instead of asking 1 question only & making space for Vicki to answer.
Especially when during the trial internet comment sections were full of misogynists, blaming her for what he did to her and how he put their children at risk if he did the gas leak too.
I wish she would be given the chance to use her own words and speak at her own pace. This was her LIFE - not an episode of EastEnders! And at one point, Sue asked her a question with a smirk on her face as if she was about to laugh! 🤦🏿♀️ Poor journalism. Instead of feeding her life story to her in sound bites, they should ask 1 question at a time and give her a chance to respond. Then process that response with the audience showing empathy. Instead, it made HER look like a reluctant interviewee. She's obviously nervous to be on TV so it's the shows responsibility to put her at ease. As an ex journalist that's my takeaway 🤷🏿♀️
Totally agree. She needed to be on This Morning, who know how to be sensitive to people. Loose women normally interview fellow TV people.

I didn’t change my married name after divorcing my violent ex husband only because I didn’t want to confuse or upset my young child because we would’ve then had different surnames you try to keep as much continuity as possible for kids when these things happen . The marriage breakdown violence divorce etc was bad enough I just didn’t want to add to it by doing that in anger.
Changed my surname five years later couldn’t wait to change it actually when I married my husband (34yrs married now) by then my child was ok with everything.
These domestic violence situations are so complicated and each one is unique even though they all have similarities in common.

@@ahill4642 I have seen a sibling of 4 when their dad cheated on their mom, I think two of them kept their father's surname and the other took their grandpa's surname. Then their mother remarried so she has a different last name.

When women gather together... there's so much emotional involvement that they can't wait to be heard ...it would had been nice to hear more about her own story from herself.

Dreadful story. So pleased this lady survived and put her life back together. Dreadful interview by the Ladies. Very dis jointed, too much from them and really no structure to the interview. It felt like much was not said.

I am so glad Vicky has found happiness. She is an amazing woman. I remember this so vividly + still my lip curls at the sight of that sorry excuse of a man.

If it wasn't for the police Cilliers would be walking free today. She refused to cooperate with the investigation & obstructed it in everyway she could. The first trial collapsed when she refused to give evidence against Cilliers.

There’s a documentary about this case on Netflix.
One of the men in charge of the parachutes noticed it was tampered with and called the police I read somewhere.
Her husband took the parachute into the toilets, and when the jump was cancelled, instead of taking it back to get another one the next day, he kept the same one in his locker for her. Plus there's evidence he tampered with the gas supply in the house while her and the children were in the house.

They normally interview celebrities who know about TV. This interview should of been done on This Morning. This women doesn't know how to be interviewed by three people. Don't blame her

The field she landed on had just been furrrowed so the churned up mud was much softer than usual.
There was a documentary last year. She totally blanked the first investigation, she didn't cooperate or speak in court so he went free for years. Even though he tried to gas her before that.
Well, she said one of them was because she was spinning.
And the field had been plowed 👀 ploughed? 🙄 anyway, the field was not as hard as it could have been. ☺️
She said that it was a combination of things. She said that it was luck, the fact that she was spinning, which created Lyft, and then that she landed in a plowed field. Did you not watch the whole video?
Well these ladies don’t really need a guest. They can just tell the stories themselves. Would be nice to hear from the survivor herself.

Jeezus, poor Vicky is trying to talk while running a gauntlet of 4 women stepping all over her sentences and dragging her to and fro. A ridiculous format -- especially for such a terrible and poignant story that the victim is trying to share. Ladies: learn to have more tact and sensitivity in your interviewing technique, because this style is very off-putting and aggravating.

The poise of this woman is absolutely amazing considering what she has went through in her life. Kudos to her and her current happiness she is now experiencing! Thanks to the presenters who I’m sure assisted in telling her story as I’m sure she was very nervous.

Just found this on CZcams, why have a person on for an interview about something that happened to them and then the interviewer do all the talking. It was her story to tell.

This is like an interview a CBS morning show did several years ago with Bob Seger. They would ask questions and he didn’t get to answer too many . He answered some but they would interrupt and talk over him. I thought it was so rude and a waste of his time. They need to learn the fine art of shutting up and listening to the answer to their questions, obviously the same applies to these women. Be respectful and courteous to your guest.

The loose women panel, are like a group of teenagers in the school playground. All they want is their voice being heard. What a waste of time, this woman had so much to share, if she'd have been allowed to talk, instead they gave her a few seconds after each dumb comment from themselves.

I used to know a guy that I think is a narcissist. Got myself out of that situation. Decided the best course for my life was to not have romantic relationships and get everything I need by myself. Sorry, but I like my dog and cat more.
