I'm going to Bath this year and love watching your uni related vids to help prepare!! For freshers do most people just get the SU wristband? because I keep getting told about other city events but I'm not sure If I need to get them or would use the tickets if I got them? Xx
Aw thank you!!! And yes all the first years get the SU wristband because the events are on campus and everyone goes to them it’s so good !! I also got 1 ticket to a city event on the first night when the campus events hadn’t started yet xx

hiii, i’m looking at going to bath but i really want to do a year abroad but i can’t find anything about them with the course i want to do. do you know if you can do year abroad instead of a placement year
A year abroad is when you study in a different country for a year so if it’s not an option on your course then you can’t because it means the uni doesn’t have connections with universities abroad for that subject. But if your course has the option to do a placement, you can do a work placement anywhere so you could work in a different country for a year. However I know that it is a lot harder to do all this now because of Brexit but I’m pretty sure it’s still possible :)
