Why is rotom wash good. I've outsped it, taken less than 3% damage, OHKOed it, and setup w/out protection
@@homenvy1026 many things. Only has 1 weakness which is grass type, while resisting Steel, Ice, Fire, Flying, and Water types, 4 of which are relatively common offensive types (which are Ice, Fire, Water, and to some extent, Flying).
Rotom Forms are naturally bulky, especially Rotom-wash because of its useful resistances and typing matchups.
Has levitate ability to off-set one of weakness to immunity. This also means it is not vulnerable to rocks, which other rotom forms do (Heat rotom is often used with Heavy Duty Boots in singles).
Very good moveset combination of Hydro Pump for good damage (Water in general is a good defensive and offensive type because only Grass and Dragon resist it), and thunderbolt.
It could also learn volt switch, which is a very strong pivot move for a bulky mon.
It also learns Trick, which is very good against setup sweeper.
One of the big things too is that it can learn will-o-wisp, which is the bane of all physical attackers, and defog. Can also do screen support.

i could never play single battles personally when i did it was just so unfun like stall being so prominent just ruins my enjoyment not to say no one can like it i just don't get how you do this like the thumbnail saying how to beat stall in under 40 turns reminds me of one piece fans saying things like it gets good after 500 episodes lol
That one piece line was funny😂 but I definitely agree with you. Probably the place where you see least amounts of stall in singles is national dex Ubers because the Pokémon are so powerful that trying to stall out doesn’t really work although you do still see it sometimes, so maybe give that a try. Stall was one of the reasons I moved to that tier even though I prefer using a greater variety of Pokémon but as you say it’s just so annoying that it’s not fun. I’m glad gamefreak lowered the pp on recovery moves as that helps but I think they need to do it for a lot more of the status moves, I don’t think any move should have pp above 16. I don’t think those tactics should be removed altogether as there is a part of it that is working out some other way to be successful but they need to put limits on it. I honestly can’t understand the mentality of someone who wants to win by grinding someone into submission through sheer boredom and irritation but there are plenty who do it for pleasure and those that just want cheap points.
@@VegaPhil yeah i always thought like how do they find it fun because even if you win the vast majority of your games that takes so long i would find it hard to enjoy i may try national dex ubers because i just am a fan of pokemon battles and after some singles i ended up deciding that the faster pace of VGC doubles was more my cup of tea but yeah the one piece example is a little more extreme but its the same kind of thing like to someone who doesn't watch one piece hearing that sounds absolutely insane like who would watch a show because it gets good after 500 episodes like to me hearing how to beat stall in under 40 turns is like insane because 40 turns sounds ridiculous to me

NO IKR, but his chansey was choice scarfed. And he had a ghost type so he had no way of damaging fred
No, Hippowdon lost to Greninja by that point. Chansey could only do two possible moves, Toxic (most likely) or Seismic Toss. But Seismic Toss doesn't affect Hisuian Zoroark and op can't outstall both Greninja and Zoroark without recovery.
You forget that there were toxic spikes up, his Chansey would have been toxic-poisoned the moment it came in. It wouldn't have been able to out-damage Fred's remaining two.

He can't win. Remember that chansey got tricked into scarf. So when Greninja gets rid of Hippowdon, Chansey could only choose one move (probably toxic) and no way is he outstalling both Greninja and Zoroark.
Game was over after skam and pex went down especially with lopunny being paralyzed nothing else checks greninja so its free to come in and clean up.
