Dr तुम्ही सांगितलेल्या सर्व गोष्टी एकदम बरोबर आहेत. माझं वय 49 वर्षे आहे.मी 18 महिन्यांपूर्वी Robotic knee replacement surgery केली होती. तरीही मला वजनामुळे नीट चालायला जमत नव्हते. मला heavy diabetis होता. मी 60 युनिट्स insuline injections घेत होती. शिवाय 3 गोळ्या पण घेत होती. मी सर्व medicines ला आणि injections ला खूप कंटाळली होती. गेले 21 वर्षे मी diabetis, cholesterol, BP चे medicines घेत होती.
शेवटी मी हिंमत करून 8 महिन्यांपूर्वी Gastric bypass surgery केली.
आता माझे वजन 108 kg वरून 77 kg वर आले आहे. माझे insuline injections आणि diabetes आणि cholesterol medicines surgery झाल्यावरच बंद झाले. आता फक्त एक nominal 500 mg ची गोळी सुरू आहे. आता माझी sugar एकदम control मध्ये आली आहे. HbA1c तर 6 वर आहे. हळुहळू ही गोळी आणि BP च्या दोन्ही गोळ्या बंद होतील असा मला विश्वास वाटतो. मी सद्ध्या खूप energitic feel करते आहे. माझा चालण्याचा वेग वाढला, काम करायची capacity वाढली.
खरंच खूप खूप फायदा झाला मला.
फक्त diet, protein आणि multivitamin tablets नीट प्रामाणिकपणे केले की, काहीच problem होत नाही.
Main म्हणजे आपल्याला चांगल आयुष्य जगायचं आहे असं स्वप्नं बघत बघतच ह्या 18 महिन्यांच्या process मधून गेल तर लवकर चांगले results मिळतात.
ज्यांना या surgery बद्दल काही माहीत नाही, कृपया त्यांच्याशी discussion न केलेलेच बरे.
जास्त वजनाने मरण्यापेक्षा , ह्या surgery चा विचार गरजू patients ने नक्की करावा.
