If you split that rubber, you will start having weird idling. Mine idling was pulsing whe stationary and found out it was split at the bottom and you need to do an idle relearning. Mine is an accord 2004.

Thanks for the video. After watching this, I think I’m going to remove the lid to the air box to keep from struggling with removing and installing the hose. Also, by removing the hose and air box…it’ll give me easier access to shove a Throttle Body cleaner soaked microfiber rag down into the Throttle Body.
