Thanks for all the tips. Appreciated 👍 I never used spotlight very much, but since it’s on the keyboard and the shortcut Cmd+Space, I’m using it more often. Love the quick way to transform fahrenheit, pounds, miles, etc. into European celsius, kilograms, kilometers, etc. That’s very handy since I’m watching tons of American videos with these measurements and I’m always converting these to know exactly what they are talking about. Does spotlight also have something for translating English text in (for me) Dutch language?

Hi, what does the new nano-texture display feel like irl? Like does it feel more smoother and better on our fingers than glass or is it mainly the 'anti reflective' property of it that makes it worth it
I have the M2 11inch pro. I use mine to edit videos so I have no use for the M4 but I am happy they finally added battery health.
Yes, they added this feature to the M2 iPad Air also. Too bad the M2 iPad Pro is too weak to run this feature 😢

Hi Arron, I’m upgrading from a 10.9” iPad to a 13” iPad Air, I asked in the Apple Store about not initially installing the latest update on the Air and was told this isn’t possible and that it won’t let me skip it to begin with. I’m confused now, as you’ve implied I could do that. I’m based in the UK, not sure if that makes any difference?
Hi Aaron! Are you experiencing any screen issues with the Oled panels on the iPads? My screen is really dim even at full brightness and has a yellow screen. Really disappointing since the mini led was near perfect. Thanks!

Just got the m4 and the volume buttons are different from my m1 iPad I went into sound in setting and the option to change it is there any more did they move it or is there a new way of changing it ?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but just randomly using my Apple Pencil Pro on the M2 Air 11”, and noticed I got haptic feedback when long pressing the Home Screen icons with the Pencil. Same with previewing photos and web links; thought that was pretty cool to give a little bit of that familiar iPhone haptic to the new iPads, if not indirectly through the Pencil.
How much watt does the ipad pro 13 inch take? people say 40w some say 20w its not confirmed, can you confirm?
Am I the only one who’s turned off by the nano texture coating ?

I will stick with the 2018 iPad Pro. Outside of some gaming I actually don't use it much, I prefer my 14 MacBook for media consumption over a tablet

I am waiting for the new ipad mini release this year, with more battery power and more bright screen for outdoor usability.
I feel more productive using ipads for its portability and when we used the apple pencil .
Not a fan of magic keyboards , rather than that i would prefer using a macbook air M3 for serious works.
Hey Aaron. Do you use a screen protector on your iPad? I don’t want to take away from the Tandem OLED. What’s your advice? Do any of your other devices have scratches if you don’t use protectors?

This was very helpful. However, I noticed that I don't have the Larger display zoom option under Display & Brightness even though I am on 17.5. As I have the 11" iPad Pro, that option may be specific to the 13" iPads. I also do not have the pointer control customizations under Accessibility or Lock White Balance option under Camera. I am not sure why this is the case, though.
I also don’t have the larger display zoom so I am guessing it is a 13”option only. The pointer customization might only appear if a pointer is attached to the device (like a Bluetooth mouse or the Magic Keyboard). I do see the option for lock white balance in my camera settings. Maybe try restarting the device?
? I don’t see it is there something I need to do to able to see it, the text message forwarding option?
Reflections/glare were never any issue for me with an iPad, so even though I knew I was getting the 1TB option, I went for standard glass. Saw them both side-by-side at the Apple Store beforehand, and while it isn’t as drastic as I thought it would be, you do lose some of the rich colors and deep blacks with the standard tandem OLED display. Glad I went for the “standard” glass. That being said, seeing a nano texture display doesn’t necessarily “turn me off”
Once you make is MacOS and automatically sync with it I’ll buy it.

Hi Ive seen reports about panel issues with blue being washed out and some people saying screen door effect on the screen please no if so hopefully a software fix
It’s possible. I had 5 warranty replaced 10.5” Pro’s because those things were a menace. 4/5 of the replacements were screen issues.
How does it feel to write with an Apple Pencil Pro on the nano textured display? Is it better or worse compared to the writing on direct glass?
Feels basically the same. Maybe a little less slippery

What’s interesting is that the battery health section in settings is still not present on the M2 IPad Pros when it could seemingly be easily added in an update! :)

Great video Aaron! I like the new M4 iPad Pro. The Pencil Pro has so many innovations that probably any other stylus right now can’t do. I think it’s cool how you can just rotate your brushstroke and the squeeze feature is great too.

I have a question, ipad pro m4 11inch or ipad pro m2 12,9inch the price is the same on both in my country. So guys what do you think, which one to pick?
Probably depends on how mobile you like to be. I tried the bigger iPad 12.9 as well as 13.0. Beautiful big screen but feels heavy in your hand if you like to be on the go and truly mobile traveling consuming content while in the couch or in bed. I have the new 11 inch M4 upgraded from 2018 pro.
If you’re mostly at a desk go big. Portable go with 11”

12.9” is too big to use as a tablet. So if you get one, you basically end up with a bad laptop (with a great screen). Honestly, unless you need a huge touch screen for a specific reason, get the 11” or a Macbook.
The nano coating defeats the purpose of the oled screen. The coating makes it looks like an off black or gray/navy

My iPad Pro 13” M4’s screen seems to have a green cast to it compared to my iPhone 15 pro max, is this normal?
I don’t see that, but being that it’s an OLED display. It wouldn’t surprise me if some of them have that.

Mine looks exactly like my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Would take to an Apple Store for an exchange since Apple will take back any device in its first week to diagnose possible manufacturing issues.

Adding battery health on ipad is the worst thing ever because it’s gonna drain faster than iphone as many people their ipad is the main device working on and using it in heavy task like editing and a lot of students studying on it while charging it

I bought the 13 Pro M4 2TB. I use it daily for Email, CZcams and some light porn on the weekends. Hoping it doesn’t overheat and no lag issues. Future proofing as well. 👍
