- The iPad Pro M4 is the perfect companion when you travel so I decided to go to Paris and do a day in the life while traveling. You get to see the new Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil Pro, Nano texture glass, and even compare it to the MacBook.

Switched from 12,9” iPad Pro to a 11” now and I must say, I’m not missing the screen real estate of the 12,9”. I love how compact the 11” is instead and it comes with the same gorgeous oled display as the 13” model

So true. I was at ht apple store yesterday and tried it out. I have a 12.9” now and the size deters me from using it all the time. I use my ipad mini more because of that. I think the 11” is the sweet spot.
I agree. Just got my new 11" pro and it's the perfect size. So convenient to use and haul around.
@@Saulius1mI have the 2019 11” Pro and taking notes in meetings etc with the pen. Not missing out on the size at all. Only time I would have loved it is when watching movies etc.

You didn’t mention if you got the cellular iPad? Or did you just tether to your iPhone? I think the cellular iPad would be the choice if you travel a lot?

Great review while travelling! Have you decided to switch to the standard glass or keep nano?
Depends on use case: 11/13” nano best for travelling/outdoors helping to reflect light. Also fingerprints on Nano are much less apparent when the screen is turned on VS a more reflective glossy display. Agreed vibrancy of Oled is lost but the I expect the nano reduces eye strain vs standard.

Hey there! I have a question, for uni. and watching movie-shows yt etc. Which one should i buy; ipad air m2 11" or ipad pro m2 11" (all of them with pencil tho) ? In my country the ipad pro m2 11" is 5k more than new ipad air so which one is better for long term? New ipad is 2 years younger and it will be get more updated that's the two reason im stuck with it: m2 pro price and update stuff... 🤷🏻♀️ and also is it big enough 11"? I want to buy the 13" but the price diff is literally 10k its so much tho. I would like to state that the iPad I bought can be updated for at least 6-7 years and that I want to use it for a very long time without lag or other problems.

I like to use my iPad Pro for taking notes, reading books, annotating PDF files, and watching content, of course. I have the 11-inch M1 iPad Pro. The only downside is that streaming content takes a toll on the battery. I also like using it in sidecar mode, so I can use it as a secondary monitor, with my MacBook's keyboard and mouse connected across devices, although its kind of awkward because of the difference in size, because my MacBook Pro has a 14-inch screen.

I wish I can visit Paris, France one day ❤ The sneak peek is exciting. Typing on my 6th Gen iPad with 1st Gen Apple Pencil, lol. I recently went to the Apple Store to try the new iPad M4 with new Apple Pencil and of course compare the screens. I liked the nano texture screen for deflecting light, drawing, writing but I love the OLED standard screen better for viewing content and the artwork just pops out more on the screen. I’m wondering if it’s better to get the standard screen and apply a screen protector on it. I personally do animations and 3D work on my Windows laptop but I have been planning on getting a newer iPad for notes, self study, media, video editing, typing, drawing, animation, and 3D art. I know it’s a lot 😅 I plan on using it everyday. I am not getting the iPad right away, I want to watch the WWDC news next month and then decide.

What's even more amazing than the iPad Pro 2024 is Nikias' speaking in two languages like a native. I want to know how he did it. I know he was a foreign exchange student for a short time but that couldn't explain his fluency in English -- and with barely a hit of an accent.

I’m not sure if you are aware of this new feature of the new folio. Apple added a strip of magnetic down the spine. So, instead of the new upright 90º angle position wherein you watched Star Wars The Bad Batch you can slide down the back to a lower magnet position for another viewing angle.
I think this is the first time a new iPad has been launched and I don’t want it. Perfectly happy with my M3 iMac and iPad Mini 6 with Apple Pencil.
What is the screen like after longer use? I use my ipad Pro 2020 11 inch, which is LCD for work and leisure.
Emails, Teams, Excel, Word, movies, TV shows, procreate, and gaming. All combined, like 3 plus hours per day. Does the oled 1000 nits of brightness hurt tour eyes??
You can always just lower the brightness, dunno what’s the concern
@extra4542 true, it was just a query though. More so trying to see what people think, see what the PWM is like. Some Oleds can irritate some people's eyes.
I’m surprised you went with the smaller 11” over the 13”. Didn’t you have the 12.9” iPad Pro prior? Do you miss the larger display?

I tried going from the 12.9 back to 11. Only bought 12.9 for best screen at the time. I couldn’t adjust back to the 11, exchanged for 13. It’s big but noticeably lighter than 12. Was. Bigger screen, keyboard etc.
How is battery life on ipad pro m2 12,9inch? How much it last on normal day? I see a lot of guys complaining about battery life of m2 12,9inch ipad pro. I now doubting or its worth to pick one for my self if its battery life is not good. Thanks in advance.
I can only speculate because mine hasn’t arrived yet…
The 13” iPad Pro has a larger battery than the 11”, which is an advantage. Also, the Tandem OLED screens are more efficient (and durable over time), because there are now 2 screens, each pixel doesn’t have to work as hard to brighten and show the image onscreen. M4, and generally Apple silicon, is known for its performance-per-watt and efficiency, but keep in mind that it’s still a desktop-class chip in an iPad. Also keep in mind if you get and use cellular connectivity often, your battery will take a hit.
Apple quotes 9-10h of use, but I’m going to guess with moderate, continuous use you’ll get about 6h.
The way you put apple widgets in your videos is the besst part! Never stop using them!😭
How about the battery life during your trip?
Even tho I’m an artist, I always go with the 11” iPad Pro. The screen is plenty big enough to draw on, plus it is so much more portable than the 13”. I’m also gonna go with the standard screen over the nano texture. Glare never bothered me much and besides, the whole point of getting an OLED screen is to enjoy those inky blacks & vibrant colors that pop! The nano screen looks significantly duller to my eyes.
1) everyone forgot the Apple Vision Pro, and that you can be on the plane with the Vision Pro instead the iPad. 2) new iPad Pro perfectly fits the table of the plane seat (OHHHHHH, but wait, the old one is also the same size! WHAAAATTTT??)

I prefer the logic tech combo touch less expensive and you can detached the keyboard and its in a case so it still protective. You would think for an expensive product like that apple woulda made the magic keyboard little different 350 for what
Had the 12.9" for a few years, but it was too heavy/cumbersome. And then the MacBook Air M2 came out in Midnight (yes, I did choose to go back to a Mac because of that color!) and hardly used the iPad. And now for this next generation, going to 11" since the screen quality is the same, and more comfortable holding a long time (even though the 13" is now much lighter, holding in landscape with one hand gets tiresome quickly). When I travel with my work laptop, I wouldn't want my MacBook Air, which would be a total of over 6lbs! I also debated the standard glass vs. nano-texture, and though I have the polishing cloth, I don't want to be beholden to it, whereas using a screen protector, I can wipe it down with any cloth, including being able to use some soap (although with a matte screen protector it usually doesn't show fingerprints as much).
Nice video, Nikias, thanks also for the reference to USB charging between iPhone & iPad. As a traveler- 2 questions, have you invested in cellular version & do you think the double RAM on the terabyte storage size makes a
real world speed difference on the iPad. Any comments would be appreciated as I make my decision. Thank you.

El iPad Pro una pasada, aunque creo que con el mismo uso mostrado en el vídeo, un iPad Air M2 es más que suficiente para el 99% de los usuarios. Solamente si se van a hacer trabajos creativos muy profesionales justificaría el modelo Pro, por los 120hz de pantalla, que lo convierten en una maravilla aún mayor a la hora de ilustrar por ejemplo

For me the 11“ is the sweet spot between a MacBook and the iPad Mini. It’s big enough to have a great experience but also portable enough to bring it on a daily basis and on occasions where I would have left my MacBook at home 😊

Agree. I never had an issue with the 12.9 while traveling and it fit on the airplane tray table without issue. Looking forward traveling with my new 13” pro.
It seems gigantic in store but it ain’t that bad, it’s like you said, about a sheet of paper. It’s still very much portable
It's unnecessary to have such a large form factor if you own a MacBook. The transition is seamless: iPhone Pro, 11" iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Studio Display if you need a bigger screen.

I pre-ordered the nano texture on day one and had it for about 3 days before I exchanged it for the standard glass. I was going to keep it because the screen was really smooth, which I liked, but it was grainy when using it under the sun. I could see different pixels making up the white background and that was the deal breaker for me; on top of having to be extra careful with it. Love the videos! 🎉Keep ‘em coming.
