Suggestion…Have you thought of starting a one month ahead sinking fund that you could pull from when you are having a hard time meeting the family budget amount? Start slow and build for those hard times.

So great to see your savings work out so well. I'm wondering if you comapre year to year by month to see when your lower months are? It seems like maybe you have lower income times at the same time of year? Would it make sense in your stronger months (December/January/February) to put aside money for anticipated shortages in your lower earning months?

I have the sheets you are using for the 1-50 challenge. I take the ends of the money and fold them into the center. They fit great like that but it does get chunky. The bigger bills for some reason fit nicely folded in half. Hope that helps!

The budget mom is coming out with a 100 envelope box. Reasonable priced too! I may pick that up. I also bought a cheap version from Amazon and the sleeves are so thin they tear. She comes out with the box in May!

for those amazon sheets, i believe you're suppose to fold the money into thirds - that's how i've seen other youtubers do it. i'd still return it and get your money back tho! i feel like it's better to just put it one big envelope anyways, breaking it up into a bunch of small ones just makes a bunch of extra work for you when you go to get the money.
