Headaches in Kids? (The Eyes Matter!)

In this video we're exploring the frequently overlooked connection between vision problems and headaches in children and teens. As a parent or caregiver, this is essential info for supporting your child's well-being and academic success.
When you dig into the research, there are a variety of vision issues that can dramatically increase the possibility of headaches, neck, back, and shoulder pain in kids. Issues like accommodative disorders, binocular vision dysfunction, and convergence insufficiency can all play a significant role and often need specific tests to identify.
While we have lots of info here on YT regarding vision issues and hundreds of hours of coursework on the relationship between vision, pain, and performance in our certification courses, the primary point of today's video is simply AWARENESS.
If your child regularly complains of headaches and neck/back pain, please be proactive and have them assessed. Not only can it be enormously important in reducing their pain, but it can also make a huge impact on their recreational and academic pursuits.
