This World Cup was one of the best I have ever watched, men’s or women’s. What a fantastic spectacle. Wish it was Holland winning but overall it was amazing.

The defenders did a better job imo. Van lunteren had a couple of last second tackles. Van der grat was solid. Spitse was a bruiser in midfield. Janssen did her job. Van de donk was a pitbull chasing balls. Van de sanden also changed the game with her pace.

The teams were very even, I think. You guys were much better in the first half. We were a bit better in overtime. Could have gone either way (but both teams will lose vs USA, unfortunately).

I'll be honest, I started following a few of the Dutch team a few months ago because I thought one or two of them were cute (I doubt I'm the only one). In fairness, I also do like the Dutch style of football. But forget that, the things I admire most about them now is how charismatic and hard working they are. They played out of their skins to win this, and it was not a straightforward game. I'm convinced they can beat the US and they 100% deserve to.

Sweden threw everything in, especially in the first half, but the day was not to be their day...
They did and frnkly I think we were counting on that i think that was the plan Hold them and wear them down then strike when they tire
Also that the ref didn't see an obvious Pen in The second half. Hurtig had The ball in the dutch penaltybox, got her foot torn off by The looks of things and the ref still didnt react. After The game, The ref commented saying there wasn't enough of a fall from Hurtig therefore no Pen.. Referee should get a fine or something for not even considering VAR.
@@tobiasa9071 True. It was a penalty, dont think it showed it in this video but the bbc highlights showed it. The dutch player kicked her foot against the ball which made it look like she got the ball when she didnt & looking at the replay it was enough to bring her down. VAR should of been used

I think that a Dutch victory against the U.S this Sunday is very probable. As of right now, it's not expected, but given their younger age, talent, enthusiastic backing from their fellow Dutch & even other Europeans (Making it into an E.U vs. U.S.A match), their strong cooperation, teamful spirit, perseverance & slow decline in U.S domination in women's football, I think that the Dutch are being underestimated & that European women's football teams have a great chance to overtake the U.S in women's football. You can largely thank Donald Trump & the U.S.A's gradual shift towards fascism aided by the Russo-Sino alliance as a result, while the E.U takes the U.S.A's place

But the worst performance by a referee in this tournament so far. Also, VAR should be used consistently and not half of the time.
