Should use by the cup for the rice & water. Many people don't have a scale.

Thanks for the review. I believe I will pick one of these up. You should be doing Amazon Affiliate program with these reviews, you could be making some money doing them and put the affiliate links in your video descriptions.

2 questions, will a block of Ramen fit in there and 2, Mrs. Poorman, what's that Bible you had there,i'd like to see that up close, Thanks
Although I have not tried it, I am certain it is more than large enough to fit a block of Ramen. As for the Bible, is there anything in particular you wish to learn about? Mrs Poor Man indicated it is called "Inspire Bible". You can find it on Amazon at m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/669768110419329/?ref=MESSENGER_BANNER_SEE_DETAILS&showCheckout=false
@@Poor_Mans_DIY Mrs. Poor man, i just noticed the ref. tabs,pencil/pen slots & it was in a zippered binder, mine i'm outdoors a lot and it caught my eye,Thank her for me Please
I love my sistema!! 1 cup rice and 2 cups water for 15 minutes. Perfect!!
We agree with you 100%
Too much water!!!
@@winterwolf2012 it has always worked for me.
Where you live, they use hard water, for most of the counter, people can use 11/2 cup of water, at most.@@teresaluders1805
first mistake , you didnt wash the rice hence its now all sticky once cooked , it needs at least 4/5 rinses
I really appreciate your taking the time to leave a comment. That means a lot to us. Allow me to clarify. Japanese rice is sticky, no matter how often or how many times your wash it. Think of Sushi. If the rice were not sticky, we would not have Sushi or riceballs at all. (I think my lazy Japanese ancestors went with sticky rice because it is so much easier to eat with chopsticks, compared to the non sticky rice. lol)
Can’t anyone use cups rather than grams ughhh
I definitely understand your frustration. I did a little research to try to help you out. GO to www.unitconverters.net/weight-and-mass/grams-to-ounces.htm. They have a very easy, free, online converter that can change grams to ounces. I hope this helps. BTW, thank you so very much for watching our video and for leaving a comment.
Free time. Sure. But you could be preparing other parts of your meal ..
That's some funky music btw
You are correct! We were just having some fun. The video was made 4 years ago and we were relatively new at this. :-) Thank you for watching our video and for taking the time to leave a comment.
Cups why not use measurements over complicated
Forgive me. Not sure I understand your point. a cup is a measurement. But thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, none the less.
Rice? it was very caked, that is not rice is mortar to build castles
Uncle Ben's Rice and some other countries do in fact cook rice that does not stick, while Japanese rice does stick. I assume you have never seen or eaten Sushi! It would be interesting to eat if it wasn't cooked like mortar to build castles. :-)
Yes I have eaten it and it is horrendous a mortar without flavor and texture.
The rice is flexible, aerator, and not a mortar to build castles. Not even a dog eats something like this, and not flavored with, for example, garlic, onion, pepper ...
@@c.r.m476 At least you have tried it and say you didnt like it. Better than disliking something you have never tried. props for that.
