Yes, it is. When you get the hang of it, you'll make perfect rice every time and it use less power than rice cooker. Thank you for watching and your kind comment, happy cooking!🥰
Have not cook Arborio rice before, but using microwave rice cooker or normal rice cooker to cook normal rice, the water ratio didn't change, so I believe it apply to Arborio rice too. After searching, online, it says that the ratio for Arborio rice is 2:1, which is 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice. You can try this ratio. Thank you for watching and happy baking.🥰
I have a similar thing, but it's not as good as yours as it doesn't have that very useful inner pot. I never had much success with it though. I find it makes the microwave all wet inside. So I cook my rice another way when I have it. 🍚😊
This pot also makes my microwave slightly steamy but not that much, try taking your pot out the moment it finish cooking, leaving a hot dish in microwave for even one minute will make the microwave steaming. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy cooking!🥰
I used a rice cooker for microwave from Tupperware and it also showed water on lid, they also had a tool for spaghetti! Both tools are ok but not the world’s best solution! I now use a small electric rice cooker from @reishunger, a German brand and it does quite some things one doesn’t expect.. makes yogurt and cake’s, whilst cooking rice you can steam your veggies on top… there are many tools to choose from and I am definitely happy with your great Videos about the breadmaker machine, hope everyone who’s interested find’s you on CZcams 😊🎉
I used my electric rice cooker too when my children still staying with us, now they stayed in different states I change to this smaller one for me and hubby. I like it because it's easy to clean, not like my old rice cooker which have lot's of rice sticking when we scoop the rice when it's hot, but not with this pot, it's easy to clean each and every time, and when I need to reheat, just took a few second in the microwave again, not like in the rice cooker, which took longer time and make even more hard crust at the bottom, but yeah, my rice cooker also can steam on top and I cook porridge too with it, but mine can't make yogurt. Thank you again for watching and always giving kind comment and so glad you enjoy the videos.🥰
I think it's suppose to put some weight so the lid will stay intact when water are boiling and it might push the lid open. Or I'm only thinking too much😅 Thank you for watching and happy cooking!🥰
Oh, how is the result? I only use this when only one or two person want to eat rice and the rest don't. Thank you again for watching and your kind comment. Happy cooking!🥰
@@theweatherisaokay4964 it turns out ok .. because my microwave have function for cooking rice .. it cooks in 25 minutes .. I cook it in pyrex bowl ... partly cover the bowl with plastic wrap and cook the rice as though we cook on the stove
