It’s been said in the comments but a full album reaction to “The Ocean and the Sun” would be unbelievable. One of my top 3 albums of all time and I would love your perspective on it. I get legit excited thinking you can listen to it for the first time. I wish I could go back and experience it for the first time again. Love the content Brian!!
A friend showed me this when it came put and described it as the artists response to The Mars Volta and Ive never been able to unhear it. This came out right after Deloused in the Comatorium. Def less dissonant but the inspiration is apparent. You should really check out the TMV song Drunkship of Laterns. I feel its more up your alley then their other stuff

I feel a revisit of RX Bandits is in order. A full listen of one of their albums would be great. Mandala is my favorite
They're 100% worth checking out a bit more. But it's difficult cuz I absolutely love The Resignation for its ska-punk aspects and Mandala for its prog-focused approach. Also And TheBattle Begun is a great in-between. Those three albums are just near perfect imo.
The Sound of Animals Fighting is an insane act of the scene but honestly their other two albums and their most recent EP are a better listen in my opinion, because they expand so much more on what these people are capable of and what the genre of Post-Hardcore even is. The Ocean and The Sun as an album for example is something I immensely recommend, is incredible and experimental beyond belief and each track is something entirely unique.
I also would really recommend listening to RX Bandits' catalog since they're mentioned here, specially ...And the Battle Begun, which I personally consider their best record all around.
