my spine chills whenever I heard the swan song intro kicks in
this is weird. im obsessed with half life and the vibe it gives me like nihilism and hopelessness, id imagine scenarios within that universe with music like that playing and then i find this in my recommended

Such a Great compilation! I feel less alone listening to this (I've heard #1 & #2 many times over...For some reason,I revisited these compilations today.) I've listened to more Post-Rock/Post-Metal /Instrumental~Ambient Music than ever before in my life,in the last 5-6 Years...There is Great stuff coming out,but,it's hard to discover unless you hear Many,many Albums or get compilations like these,that give you an idea of what Albums are really worth hearing for one more hidden gem of a track( I occasionally like a complete Album from start to finish,but not always.Sometimes,only like 2 or 3 Tracks off an Album.)

the concept of a tall building is just someone saying look at how much more money I have than you!!!
the thing is that nobody truly understands the height of that building, like it can be seen for miles. for comparison this building compared to the tallest building now is barely 1/4 of the height, this isn't just I'm richer then you levels of tall; this is 'I'm better then you' levels of tall. it should also be put into consideration that it was given to Wallace Breen by the combine so you could still probably be richer than him, but even so he has infinitely more wealth than you because of his status.
