    I love the way Bol runs. SO smooths and slow, like those stallions that don't look like they're moving fast, but they're chewing up the ground.

    The mascot is a traditional Torun Gingerbread. Torun is famous in Poland for gingerbread. Congratulations to Swiety-Erestic and the Polish women's 4x400m relay. Pozdrowienia z Linden, New Jersey. After the race Swiety-Ersetic said that she was prepared to run even faster, but she failed to produce on the race day. She seems to sincerely believe that she should establish her new personal best during the Olympics this year. As to the relay, she did not participate and they still got bronze medals. I am glad that Lesiewicz was on the very relay.

      No, Americans are still THE team in the 4x400m relay. In every Olympics the USA women have run this relay, they have gotten first or second. Including first for six Olympics in a row. No country in the world consistently produces 400m talent like USA.

    • @LarryvanD
      @LarryvanD Před 3 lety +4

      @@joelwillems4081 One option is putting Dafne Schippers as 4th runner for the 4x400m. She is on the 4x100m relay but I think the Dutch have more chance for a medal at the 4x4. She should run a decent 400m time as 200m specialist and plenty experience. Dopheide did a good job on the relay eventho she ran out of steam at the end, it was for her a very good time. Im curious how fast Dafne could do a 400m relay with some training the last months for the Olympics.

    • @LarryvanD
      @LarryvanD Před 3 lety +4

      My favorite order would be; Lieke (power starter), Dafne (powerhouse), Lisanna (getting back from injury, great stamina the last 200m) and Femke for the finish

    • @vandrosia
      @vandrosia Před 2 lety +1

      Looks like your comment did not age well! The Dutch finished third from the bottom in Tokyo! Bol is good but you need four good runners to win this relay event. That's why Miller-Uibo and Eid Naser won't ever win a 4x400 relay because their respective countries can't produce four good runners in this event.
