  • Jesse and the Intrepid Snowmobiler crew head out from the Quality Inn in Edmundston and ride into Quebec, around Lac Temiscouata for lunch in Biencourt and then loop back into New Brunswick. The day started off with a freshly groomed rail bed, and then breaking trail in fresh powder for 50 kms. We got stuck a couple times but we had a fantastic day riding, getting warmed up for our trip around Northern New Brunswick into the Christmas Mountains for the next four days!

    Shaper bars are hands down the best longest lasting bars on the market,in the conditions you guys ride in you could probably get 3 seasons out of one pair of 9.5 shapers...Those trails are amazing 👍👍👍

      @sledaddicz  Před 2 lety

      I can agree! To be honest, I absolutely love my Bergstrom triples. I used to run 8" studboy shaper bars but found them over kill. My sled has 12K on it with these bergstroms and the carbides are all still there. And yes.. the trails out there are absolutely fantastic! Cheers, Jesse

    Thanks for the great video! Really appreciate you mentioning the trail numbers so anyone who wants to do this route has the route information. Also appreciate your emphasis on reminding sledders to stay on their side of the trail. Your channel does a good job of balancing having fun, respecting land owners and riding safely.

      Hey Matt! Yes sir. Those trails are some of the best I have ridden. Just pristine and perfectly maintained. Cheers, Jesse

  • @kendallsherryleech7035

    As always, excellent video! As a club president in New Brunswick, I thank you for pointing out the need for riders to help the clubs by repairing signage, and especially for “staying on the groomed trail”! Off trail riding is becoming a huge issue, that affects landowners permission in all areas!

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Kendall! Absolutely. As a club volunteer and groomer operator myself, I understand how much work goes into getting trails ready and maintaining them. If riders just helped out a little bit it makes it so much easier. Things like fixing downed signage, or alerting the club to a hazard goes a long way and doesn't take much time or effort! And yes, off trail riding on private property is a huge problem and one of the reason we started the channel, to promote safe and responsible riding so our trails can last for many years to come! Cheers, Jesse

    Hey Jesse I have been waiting for your trip to New Brunswick since you mentioned you were coming a few episodes ago. I have been following the channel for the past 2 seasons and have been sledding northern New Brunswick for the past 44 years. We were just through the Christmas Mountains 2 days ago definitely a jewel in the NBSF trail system hope you enjoy the trip. FYI gas is selling for $2.80/lt in the back country.....

    Jesse where you came over that step bank from the road then got stuck. My friends and I broke that trail open that day. that Sunday and Monday was unreal riding in powder all day. we were doing the gaspie loop.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 2 lety

      Hey Chris! haha ya that was very deep! I didn't get stuck the first time. We realized we were missing someone so we came back for her and we all got stuck lol. My sled was buried and I couldn't even see ground! Tons of snow and the snow is quite heavy due to the moisture. Hope you had a good time doing the Gaspe loop. Always wanted to do it! Cheers, Jesse

      that night we were in matane. they next day was the worst with the drifts and clubs not being able to get out we only made a measly 70 miles but it was fun. we got into a hotel by three not wanting to push on and have something happen in the dark.

    i couldnt help but notice you called someone an asshole for going 4 ft off a trail then proceeded to carve and get stuck in the next field? ....

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 2 lety

      Hey Jeremy! That field we were on where that guy went off trail was plastered with No trespassing signs and stay on trail signs and was clearly marked. This next trail did not have any of that signage and was not staked. It hadn't been groomed in a while so in order for me not to get stuck I had to carve out to turn around. Cheers, Jesse
