Space X dominates industry, but Rocket Lab will be 'nipping at Elon's heels,' Rick Tumlinson, says

- A banker from Lazard recently warned that SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, could be forming a monopoly in the space business. Founder of SpaceFund and Space Frontier Rick Tumlinson, who invests in SpaceX, disagrees. Tumlinson says SpaceX is moving so fast and doing so well that it's "more incumbent on the other companies to catch up, to adapt, and to move forward to compete at the same level as SpaceX." When it comes to rivals, Tumlinson says Rocket Lab (RKLB) is new and advises people to "give them some time," adding that CEO Peter Beck and the company will be "nipping at Elon's heels."

Exactly. Your investing in Starlink really. At least in rocket labs you’re investing in the future of the supply chain of the space industry
The real question is also if there is realy that much demand for spacecargo like everybody is predicting?And second,can longterm India and China not just offer cheaper solutions that will ruin Space X?
Yeah, every falcon 9 launch in May is Starlink I believe. When StarLink is mostly fulfilled... Falcon 9 will probably see a huge drop in launch cadence.
@@brunoheggli2888 space mining specially on the moon is very realistic in a not so distance future, which is what starship r developed to do. and both r not real competitor to space x, at least not in western world. there no chances any western nation would want their satellite/space payload be launch by indian or chinese company. and vice versa, there no trust between these countries.
