I had a bolt break when changing out the water pump. Terrible! A chuck stud extractor got mine out. I’ll be doing heads and cam upgrade. I’ll be saying a prayer to bolt gods that I don’t have any break
Intake manifold bolts near water jacket, flipping timing cover bolts, head bolts lol

😂🤣😅🤣 I could tell you was really hating life there for a bit. I love ford 302s but I hate taking those timing cover bolts out with a passion. Ive broken my fair share of them as well. 🤦♂️
use arp bolts,you wont have that problem again
ARP bolts are the way to go I got them in mine

Felt that man I’m on my second pair of rear calipers they just keep locking up on me idk why probably just the design😭💀
How did you get the timing cover off without dropping the oil pan? Those alignment dowels for the pump make dropping the oil pan a must. Did you damage the main seal for the crank doing it the way you did?
No you don’t have to drop the pan and no damage was done other than having to get another timing cover gasket kit which comes with all the seals needed. I’ve done this countless times this way with no issue
Also the timing cover only has dowels so they’re not a issues at all
Im dealing with a Input speed sensor that is broke off in the side of the my transmission. Im beyond aggravated with it.

Just mainly aesthetic but does clear up a lot of space for better valve covers
What bracket do you have on the alternator??
Man I install the same bracket but now the alternator sits real close to the sn95 sway bar. Maybe switching to a fox chassis bar helps. What you think 🤔...
It sits close but should let be a issue of hitting at all I have a good inch or more of space which is plenty of room

@@lollis_garage3683 Ah yea I forgot about the shallower timing cover. Have to swap a fox one onto a 95 motor that's going in my fox so I should have remembered that lol

I have a Mac tools extractor set that I used! 👍🏼
@@lollis_garage3683 I have to use a cheap snap on set. Must be nice to have the real tools 🤣 nah Im kiddin i dont have snap on anything mines probally a dollar tree brand or something without a name out of the cheap tool bins at O reilys or something 🤣😅🤣😂
