pokemon's big problem is the fact that gamefreak still owns it.
I hope Nintendo eventually owns the franchise and can make a pokemon game with an actual budget like what they've done with Zelda BOTW

I expected a new Pokemon game on the NINTENDO SWITCH to just be more grandiose. The graphics need to be worked on. It looks like a 3DS game.

Pokemon games dont need special gimmicks to be bought. They will be bough regardless. Not adding every pokemon is going to be a main point for people to not buy it. At this rate pokemon will die. Which is obviously terrible. But it happens to every franchise at some point. Good or bad, we man be at the end of pokemon cycle.

I almost completely agree with you on almost every point. GameFreak really needs to get there shit together look back at the older games, and find inspiration there, honestly I’d be happier with a 2d Pokémon game rather then these games...
on god, a 2d game would be so much better. we won't be getting one ever again tho because everything is terrible

How about remaking the Gen 1 games all over (in black and white), but this time with minecraft-like graphics and the surroundings that, move(for example the sea,which texture looks pixelated with a frame speed every 1/2 of a second) giving the idea that you actually in the game in 3D but in an oldschool game, giving the option to view the game in top-down,first person or just behind the character to see him walking,
also a post game quest will be added, in which you save the world from MISSINGNO.
who threathens to corrupt the world, and (spoiler alert) the missingno. that we all know, is actually a coccoon of the banished fourth legendary bird, who plots revenge and you have to stop it.

Your opinions are soooooo similar to mine wow. Its asinine how lazy game freak is considering their success lol. I'd say these games fall in line with the whole 3ds era path they've been on for a while, so I probably won't be buying.
Well,i played the game and it was actually pretty nice.And i did play the previous games,i'm not just some kid.

I just don't understand Gamefreak's fetish with throwing in random battle gimmicks in each version since x and y. Megas were okay. Z moves were cancer. Dynamax is just pure stupidity. Why can't we instead just have our pokemon be able to fucking follow us like in HGSS? Or why can't we have an expanded base mechanic like in ORAS? Or actually, just put the fucking battle frontier back in the god damn game. I will not buy Sword and Shield if there isn't a Nationaldex. I am drawing the line there. I was fooled with sun and moon and fooled again with ultra sun and ultra moon. I'm not letting it happen again. I will just enjoy playing through the 4th and 5th gen. Thanks for the video though. I always look forward to hearing your thoughts on the state of Pokemon.
I was fooled with Sun and it was so boring I put the game to collect dust after the 1st island
Dynamax is VERY stupid. It's just a large pokemon. How am I supposed to even use this outside of gyms or raids? They replace Mega Evos and Z moves with a cheap gimmick that will be forgotten when the next dumb gimmick in Gen 9 is revealed.
i want you to rant all over this thrash! wait till you see : Orbug,Flapple,Eiscue,Cursola,Greedunt, all of the fossil pokemon,carkoal,snom,Mister *Rime* and of course: Purrserker!
