Yes. I held off for a year, hoping to hear news of the bug fixes. Finally caved and bought Violet and have seen good and bad. Humans and their Pokémon clipping through each other while they walk, a kid moon walk in place and vanish in front of me, some dude with coffee and his exact twin mirroring their animation side by side, and the frame rate and draw distance kill me, but none of the big meme worthy bugs. But I’ve seen little loving touches like Hoppip and Bramblin actually blowing in the strong wind or a musician playing their guitar along with a town theme. Haven’t even finished the story yet, but I’d say the game is like a big diamond they dug up but never cleaned off or cut to be presentable.

Hopefully they re-release for the next gen Nintendo console with all the technical issues ironed out and graphical improvements…..possibly even some voice acting but probably not, but if they at least made the game perform better it’d be a much better experience

Well, in the span of a month, I sold 19 million copies on Steam and Xbox, and I've yet to see anyone who has played it, not thoroughly enjoy it. It's been mocked and memed for being called pokémon with guns, but really, it's ark survival with pokémon
i actually dont even see that much similarity with Pokemon other than the fact that this game has wacky creatures like Pokemon. Oh and the plagarism accusations, which honestly i cant even lie this shit is sus as hell. Even when it released and Steam store had this banner thing with Palworld, that was the first time i saw it and....holy fuck i geniuenly thought for a whole 5 seconds that this is a pokemon game, just based on how many of those "pals" looked identical to existing pokemon.
I couldn't get over the same grandma model used 5 times in a crowd of 10 people for one of the gym battles. I haven't had the desire to get a quarter of the way into this one.
Honestly, the worst part about this is that Nintendo pulled a Bathesda for this game and went against everything they stood for when it came to game development. You that phase Shigeru Miyamoto said, "a delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."? Well, clearly, somebody didn't want to listen to standards. The glitch of memory leaks that causes the game to not save or set you back is STILL not fixed, hell my brother actually abandoned his copy of Violet and downloaded palworld because "at least me character isn't a wacky inflatable arm wavering tube man"

the only games I’ve enjoyed in awhile were sword, even with the short asf story, and Pokemon legends arceus. Pokemon legends arceus is so good even with the shitty ass graphics but the storyline and mechanics make up for it, the storyline specifically
Considering you liked LA for its story, I'm surprised you're not a fan of S/V. Its graphics are about on par with LA, but its story is much better, or should I say stories. It has 3 unique and heartwarming storylines; A harrowing journey to surpass your rival, helping a pseudo orphan save his sick dog, and aiding taking down a mischievous group of hooligans (but with a twist). All this culminates to a surprise ending where the three friends you made along your journey join together to free the Pokémon Professor from Area Zero in an exciting climax. If that's not enough, they added 3 more stories in the DLC (Teal Mask, Indigo Disk and an Epilogue). These stories even expand the base game storyline, by adding new details and locations, while introducing new characters and bringing back friendly faces.

Nintendo doesn’t develop these games, Game Freak does and they clearly don’t have the quality standards that Nintendo does.

This game is insanely easily to ev train your pokemon and reach lvl 50 before hitting your first gym, but aside from that, this game is amazing.
