Pam, you have a very joyful spirit, very upbeat, positive, and encouraging. I love that you were determined to get those holes in the pot and you did! Thanks for sharing.❤
not gonna lie this was painful to watch ahahhahaha Walmart send this lady a drill..
lol I know right 😂😂
You do what ya can with what ya have! 👌
Absolutely!!
You totally Crack yourself up! Always good to laugh at ourselves. I can't tell you what to do, but I would have went to my neighbors, and borrowed his! And ... had him just drill it for me too!
Hey Gina! I don’t know my neighbors and I plan to keep it that way 😂😂🤣
@@TheScaredyCatGardener Gotcha 😉 I know my neighbors first names, but that's as far as I go, and a Hello!
@@TheScaredyCatGardener Girl, I know that’s right!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
You made a great attempt. lol🤣
Cute video! That cracked me up!😄

Pam you are hilarious 😂 I'm watching your videos and laughing so hard! My husband just stares at me!! " why am I drying off this pot" 🤣🤣I don't know
😂😂
Cute video. I always keep a soldering iron. Works like a charm for all my buckets and laundry tubs.
Great tip!
I’m watching this two months later and laughing. Tell us, Pam, have you purchased a drill yet? 😂 I love your joy and comical approach to challenges.
Lol 🤦🏽♀️no I haven’t. I have the hardest time buying for myself lol. Thanks
Where there's a will, there's a way! You cracked me up!
Your surely are and industrious woman. Watching you is such a joy. And you did it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 now I’m on to the garage for tape to put a hole in my pit 🙌🏽💗💗💗
You can do it!
Oh my; I'm handing you my drill and drill bit through the CZcams channel. Love your channel and TicTok's. (Rita in Wisconsin)
😂😂
Your joy and determination is contagious and beautiful to watch!! Thank you, Pam!
~Sharon from Florida
Oh thank you!
You are a hoot! Thanks for the giggles!
Thank you for the smiles! And some giggles!
Pam, you are so extra and I love it! I have used the hammer and screw driver method without the tape. I don't care about cracking the plastic. I love this video.
Lol. Thanks so much!!
Love the pots and the gardening bag...I usually heat that with a gas lighter and it goes in easily. Great channel!
That's a great idea!
Omg this video made my day! Especially that it's relatable! Look a 👠 can be a hammer in a pinch 😊. I admire the creativity and determination. God bless you.
😂😂 thanks!
🤣 This is so funny! You remind me of myself! Where there is determination there is some way to get the job done!
Absolutely 😂🤣
Ms. Pam, I have done the same thing. If you garden, you are gonna have funny moments. I love your spirit.
Hello SC Gardener! I invested in a mallet with a rubber top to use in the garden. Works very well and acts as a protection while hitting things in. Much appreciation for all you do!
You're hilarious! Love you Pam! Thank you! God bless you and your beautiful family! Keep smiling!❤❤️💛🕊️🙏🤲✝️🤗🥰😃
Thank you! You too!
Ooo Miss Pam 🤣Thanks for sharing the tools. Thwy look nice. Good idea for making holes without a drill. I think the tape helped
Like I was taught, you use what you got to do what you gotta do! Just glad to see someone planting leeks; personally I can't do without 'em. The freezer is bulging at the seams! BTW, dahlin', you got my vote every time they'd let me.
Thanks so much
Determination gets the job done! 💪👏🤝
I don't even have a garden, but yet I watched this entire video lol. I usually watch your other channel
Aaawww thanks! So glad to have you here too! ❤️
Sis when I first Started container gardening I was using a wood burning tool! Worked great before I started using a drill..which I don't trust myself with..that's hubby's job lol
Thanks for sharing
You are cracking me up with this video 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
I don’t know how I ended up on this channel today, certainly the Lord brought me because you are amazing ❤❤❤! Your cooking channel is also wonderful.
Thank you so much! and welcome!!!.😊
I really enjoyed the video 😂. I usually use my ice pick for starting holes when I can't use anything else. So happy it worked out for you. See you next video ❤.
Heat an ice pick on a gas stove would have had the holes in no time
Lol I don’t have a gas stove. I would have had to build a fire thanks
When you put the tape on, it keeps it from splitting! I’m posting as you said it 😊
I absolutely LOVE your videos!! This cracked me up! No "Crackpot Ingenuity" here. I have the book and it's not in there! LOL Your joy is extra contagious!! I just picked my first leek last week (we are on the 7B/8A border). I don't know how I found you, but I am sure glad I did! Thanks for this. Your love shines through!
😂 you are awesome! Enjoy all your videos.
Whack a Doodle-Doo! 🤣 Inever use a Drill. Don’t have one. I use a cheap Amazon Soldering Tool. Also have a Go Power Plus to take to the Garden when I need electricity out there. 💜💜💜 Hugs 🤟🏽 AuntieEllen
Thanks for the tips! ❤️
I’d do the same thing…tape so it doesn’t split! Then, a pointy screwdriver and hammer away…Lol….it works!! The, I went out and bought a drill. Now.. it’s easy-peasy….🤣🤣
Pam! You have to have a drill girl! Yard sale! ❤️❤️
lol. I have one now. A subscriber sent me an entire tool kit that included a drill. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 what a blessing
I think the funny looking instrument is a de weeder like something you use to dig up dandelions I just mix 3 tblsp of salt mix with water in a spray bottle to kill my weeds if a small amount I use home made weed killers I could be wrong but that is what I think it is have a great day God Bless you are doing a great job and you make gardening interesting ,informative, and fun.
I’ve done this to 5 gallon buckets. First, I heat up the tip of the screwdriver in the fire then, ram it in the plastic.
Hi stubble across this video. It made me laugh and think about all the things I have done without the proper tools. It got done and I thank God for the patience 😂
I probably would have started with a hammer and strong nail, then moved forward. I like the idea of a soldering iron from others, I may look into that.
love your channels, you are so funny! I'm in 7b too- AL. Thanks for sharing. :)
Been here, done that lol- we just moved into a place where there is some serious gardening potential- your vids are my best friends now 😅❤
That is awesome! Thank You!!!!
Heat up a screwdriver or a ice pick on the stove. Get it hot and make your holes. Works every time.
You are such a joy to watch! ❤️❤️
Thank you
Your laugh at the end just cracked me up😂
😂🤣
Would have done same thing if I had not a drill. So much fun watching 😊
Thanks for watching!
I love this video. You made my day. Love your infectious laugh
I'm so glad!
That fork looking tool is for digging up unwanted weeds. My Nanna called it her dandelion picker.
😂😂😂thanks I had no clue. I haven’t had many weeds to pull up ever. So I didn’t know lol. Thank you
You could start with a nail. You are having some fun.
I enjoy your crazy! Keep it up!
Pam, this is too funny. You can use a soldering iron to put holes in your plastic pots.
That’s what I’ve been reading but hhhmmm i think I’ll need something cordless. Lol
I have heated up metal kabob skewers to burn holes in, hot screw driver will burn holes too, lol.
Hi Pam I was just able to vote for you congratulations love 😘
Thanks for the reminder
Darlin, you crack me up. 😹
I probably would have used the tape and a screw and drill...but you did good, girl! I SO wish I had a soldering iron. For $5 I'm getting you can bet I'm getting one as soon as I find one.
Lol. Me too
Well, I would use a hot knife plastic cutter but sometimes when what you need is unavailable I take out the kitchen knife and the hammer if that do not work I am on my way to the hardware store I have been there You are very determined glad you got your holes my problem I have now is I want some rollers for my flower pots but I will get them.
I use a soldering iron. They are between $10 and $15. I've bought one at Walmart but lost it ( the guys probably borrowed it and forgot where it is). I just bought another one today at an auto parts store for $12.99.
I use it on buckets and totes for holes. I put my holes on the side so it will hold a little water. I don't have to water as much.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Pretty good - took a lot of determination. Glad you didn't get hurt. I just ask my husband to drill them for me. 😊
I use a wood burning tool. Paid $5 for it at a big box store. It works great. If you use a hammer and nail. Just put a block of wood under it.
Spin that screw drive!
3:08 I'm buying myself a drill, this gets tricky😢😅
Buy a soldering iron. The hot tip will melt through the plastic and then you can widen the hole you just made.
This could have been a 911 moment 😟
Pam Pam Pam 😄
Lol
I always heat up the tip of screwdriver to make holes. Just use the gas from the stove. Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You crack me up Pam! Good job though. That looks like the way I do things. The hubby sees me and says “What are you doing?!” That’s when he takes over! Lol! Love you girly. Thanks Pam 🫑🧅🧄🌰🥬🥕🥒🥦🍆
😂😂Hubby see me and says what are you doing. Then says Good Luck 🤣
@@TheScaredyCatGardener 😂😂😂
😂😂
You got me cracking up today 🤣 👏 thank you for sharing
Girl, you know me 😂😂 I had my self cracking up. Thanks!!
I really enjoyed watching this video 😊
Aaawww thank you I had fun making it
Thank you that was fun
*This Is So Funny! You Made My Day! Nice Work!* 😎
It may have been kluge the whole way through - but the final result sure doesn't look it! (Those are prettier holes than I get with a drill.)
And, it's kinda weirdly reassuring that someone who seems as organized as you has misplaced TWO proper tools for the job - my ADHD heart thanks you! 🤣🙏
Lol. You’re welcome and thank you!!!
Miss Pam, I wouldn't have any of those 'proper' tools, nor the pretty new ones you have. I would have had to go in the kitchen and grab my Ice Pick.
Lol. And I don’t have an ice pick 😂
@TheScaredyCatGardener Gurrl, we need to get you some tools! Since Walmart sent all those nice kitchen goodies, maybe they can send you some tools and a toolbox. 😉 Gals need a tool box with basic tools, like a power drill, adjustable wrench, glue gun, some wire cutters, a leveler, screwdrivers, and a hammer.
Yes. And that’s on my Amazon wish list too lol
@TheScaredyCatGardener And get yourself an Ice Pick for the kitchen, too. Lol.
lol I need to! I've always just used an old knife when needed lol
Love you! You are so funny!
Lol thanks
You did so good...
A corkscrew might have done it 🤷♀️
Hey Sis, a Girl got do...what a Girl got Do!.... Lol
😂🤣
Tks for sharing this with us 😊
I use a hot sodder gun
Awesome thanks!
Someone buy our friend a drill😂
😂😂
I use an ice pick to start my holes (before I use the drill)
Good idea. I thought about that but I don’t have an ice pick lol
I use a cheap soldering iron to make holes in plastic pots. If you get a soldering iron (can find them for less than $5.00 - just be sure to use it outside due to the fumes of the plastic pot when making the holes. Very fast and easy to do.
They look complicated lol I’ve worked with drills and cordless screw drivers before though. I may try the soldering iron. I see a lot of nice pots at the goodwill but I pass them up because no holes lol
@@TheScaredyCatGardener oh no they're not complicated at all! It's so much faster and easy. I found mine at Harbor Freight under $5. I hole out everything that needs holes with that thang!😄
Awesome!!! Thanks
Lol, you are funny!
😂😂
Good job!
Thanks!
Ok I would have grabbed a ice pick out the house ☺️
lol. That’s one thing I don’t have but apparently need! I thought about it too but quickly realized I didn’t have one 🤦🏽♀️ thanks
Lol. I love my sodering iron. It is inexpensive.
I’ve been looking at those since so many people mentioned it. And they look so complicated. I see a few drill/cordless screwdrivers that aren’t expensive and it just seems like I could do so much more with it. But who knows lol. Thanks
You need a soldering iron tool
You did that😊
Heat the end of your screwdriver. Burns right through plastic. That’s how I do it.
👍🏽👍🏽
Lol!
😂😂
Ive been in that predicament , i ended up taking it to the stove an heated an old knife an poked it its way easier😢😢.
I use a sodering ior
😂😂
👍👍
👍🏽👍🏽
Tape it so it doesn't split !
😂
😂😂
Whooo Hooo let’s see what’s up today 😊
😂😂
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Lol
Can someone say soldering iron???
Yes lol
@@TheScaredyCatGardener I know Sis...you was just getting in your exercise! hahahahahahaha Wayyyyy2 Gooooooo
I sure did lol
you got a lighter??? heat up the end of that screwdriver!!!
😂😂you know I didn’t think of that.
I heat a screwdriver on the flame on my gas stove, then poke it in the bottom of the plastic pot,,,,, DONE DEAL., make sure you use a pot holder for the screwdriver
lol my stove is electric I'd have to build a fire in my grill 😂😂
A candle would work also or a charcoal grill
A lighter will work also. Thanks for the tip on using the tape. I busted the bottom of my pot 🤦♀️🤷♀️ but oh well. Wish I had thought of using my wood burning tool or soldering iron. But I have 3 more I need to put holes in. Thanks for the ideas on doing it
Or just use a hammer/Nail.❤😊
I use my hot glue gun.melts through most plastic for me
