If a person gets a cheap blender to devote to garden, you can run most of the items you talked about in the blender with distilled water… and the run that through a seive. The liquid can be used, with a little dilution to water plants. And what’s left buried a couple of inches away from the plant or plants. Expired foods may be used in that way. I watch your channel when I can, good show.😃
Thanks for sharing Candy and thanks for your support!
I love the way you teach. You come across in such a gentle, patient and joyful way.
Aaawww thank you so much
Pam your an open book! Thank you! God bless you and your beautiful family!❤💛🕊️🤗🤲🙏💓✝️😊🥰👍👏👏👋

This info is fantastic, and so much is new to me. I've put coffee grounds in my compost, but I had no idea they repel slugs. I'm going to surround my immature dahlia plants with coffee grounds this spring. Thank you!!!!
Awesome
Awesome Information ❤️
Thanks
U can do the same w/onion, banana and orange peels.G'ma watered her plants w/unsweetened tea.I put coffee, tea grounds, and crushed egg shells n2 the soil.
Roses ❤ banana peels.
Now ppl tak'g onion peel'gs and mak'g season'g out of them as well as the crush egg shells. Those 2 methods just a lil 2 weard 4 Me.❤😊
lol. I have a video on this channel of how I make onion and garlic powder from the skins. They have the most nutritional value too. Thanks for sharing
I have a friend who calls coffee grounds "ground gold!" Love the rice and pasta water ideas. I did buy a in-home composter for food "waste" because I am near a river and there are rats!! So I mix the in-home "compost" with any plant bits I have. It works so well.
Yes! I have a Lomi for that purpose
I will add some of these ideas to my toolset. Great use for egg shells. I always use bananas as hubby eats them all the time (1 or 2 a day). I wait to end of week, heat up a pot of 6-8 cups of water and add the chopped peels, turn off stove after 5 min, keep lid on pot and leave it all day. Strain into large container and I get about 56 oz of what I call my liquid gold 😂. Also good in house plants once a month. TIA
Awesome
I also label the bags as what type of seeds they are and the date and time that I put the seeds in the bags.
I quickly plant them as soon as they germate.
Yep! I use rice water on my seed starts. It really helps germination rate and quick starting especially on old seeds.
And it’s so easy to prepare

I keep a large tupperware in my fridge. Most my kitchen scraps go in there along with coffee grounds. I keep it for a week or so until it's full. Then I use the liquid on the garden directly and the rest go into my compost bin. I never thought of using my rinse water from rice for the garden. Great idea! I always use salt in my noodles so I won't use that but.... Thank you😊
Sounds great!
I think you are the kindest, prettiest, and smartest Christian lady on youtube. Love you

Salute!🍃🍃😎
Thanks! You too!
I use a sandwich ziplock bag for my garden seeds with a little bit of water and tape them to my window and it works like a charm.
They germate pretty quickly if the seeds are good.
Do you add any soil?
I think this is a great idea & I want to try this. Thanks!

Hi Pam.
Good to know that coffee grounds balance compost ph. I use all the scraps but wondered sbout the ph levels.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video do you just pour in the bottom when watering from the bottom?
Yes!
How can I get rid of gnats from my rosemary soil I have in a flower pot? At the moment I have coffee grounds but it’s not working. They seem to like it 😮
what is best used on growing potatoes
Potatoes thrive in calcium so I would use the milk
I save all my egg shells , boil them for a few minutes and dry them, then I use a coffee grinder and make them into a powder. I give some to my son to mix in the chicken feed to give the chickens more calcium for more eggs. so I can use the powder on my plants too. @@TheScaredyCatGardener
How do I start potatoes? I have a growing bag. Are they seeds?
Can you let it sit longer? Wouldn’t that even be better
Absolutely
