If a person gets a cheap blender to devote to garden, you can run most of the items you talked about in the blender with distilled water… and the run that through a seive. The liquid can be used, with a little dilution to water plants. And what’s left buried a couple of inches away from the plant or plants. Expired foods may be used in that way. I watch your channel when I can, good show.😃

This info is fantastic, and so much is new to me. I've put coffee grounds in my compost, but I had no idea they repel slugs. I'm going to surround my immature dahlia plants with coffee grounds this spring. Thank you!!!!

I have a friend who calls coffee grounds "ground gold!" Love the rice and pasta water ideas. I did buy a in-home composter for food "waste" because I am near a river and there are rats!! So I mix the in-home "compost" with any plant bits I have. It works so well.

I will add some of these ideas to my toolset. Great use for egg shells. I always use bananas as hubby eats them all the time (1 or 2 a day). I wait to end of week, heat up a pot of 6-8 cups of water and add the chopped peels, turn off stove after 5 min, keep lid on pot and leave it all day. Strain into large container and I get about 56 oz of what I call my liquid gold 😂. Also good in house plants once a month. TIA

I also label the bags as what type of seeds they are and the date and time that I put the seeds in the bags.
I quickly plant them as soon as they germate.

Yep! I use rice water on my seed starts. It really helps germination rate and quick starting especially on old seeds.

I keep a large tupperware in my fridge. Most my kitchen scraps go in there along with coffee grounds. I keep it for a week or so until it's full. Then I use the liquid on the garden directly and the rest go into my compost bin. I never thought of using my rinse water from rice for the garden. Great idea! I always use salt in my noodles so I won't use that but.... Thank you😊

I use a sandwich ziplock bag for my garden seeds with a little bit of water and tape them to my window and it works like a charm.
They germate pretty quickly if the seeds are good.

Potatoes thrive in calcium so I would use the milk

I save all my egg shells , boil them for a few minutes and dry them, then I use a coffee grinder and make them into a powder. I give some to my son to mix in the chicken feed to give the chickens more calcium for more eggs. so I can use the powder on my plants too. @@TheScaredyCatGardener
