I was in tikrit from September 05- May 06. I was with a national guard unit and the Iraqi army took things very serious. They would joke and kid around but when it came down to business they definitely took care of it. I never felt scared or worried knowing that the Iraqi army always had my six just like I had their six. Hooah.

Every time i see videos of war zones I can’t help but to look around the areas and think about the dreams that get shattered. Neighborhoods where families raised children and homes that were probably built by someone aspiring to raise a family are now destroyed. Just because some people choose to make other humans eat their ideology.
I hope our children or grandchildren live to see days in which such events are just a thing of the past on their history books
I read the journal of a English Captain in WW1, he commented that the civilians suffered way worse than the Military as the Civlians lost everything, while the troops, if they lived, got to go back home.

This is my first time seeing a VR film. This is F'n incredible. 40 years of watching film and I can finally see what's outside of the frame. Thank you.
This being 360 degrees really helps in understanding the environment and is really emersive. There were some very clever filming choices like putting the camera in the cage. This really took advantage of 360 video. Well done!

Been to fallujah. In a convoy a tractor trailer got a flat tire. Made me quite nervous being at a security halt there in the middle of the night. This was in 2005 before all vehicles were armored and we ended up being spread out farther than I would have liked. No radio contact with the rest of the convoy either. Praise god I made it through that.

I am from the city of Fallujah. Most people think that Fallujah is a center for terrorists and extremists, but this is a mistake. Yes, there are committed people, but it is not extremist like ISIS. This blessed city has given birth to many heroes, doctors and engineers, and has given birth to patriotic officers loyal to their homeland until ISIS entered it in 2014 and killed many of its people. Those who stood in their face and opposed them, may God bless and preserve my city

Because there's no way you're going to get people to stay in a city not actually designed for people, in a blistering hot desert, without manipulating them.
