Dial-Type Gauge Kit precisely measures cylinder bore wear
    2"-6" range

For most motorcycle and automotive engines

Just how much wear has the cylinder bore been subjected to? Measure the severity of this condition with this precision cylinder bore gauge.
Don't rebuild an engine without checking the extent of cylinder bore wear. Cylinder bores wear unevenly due to power stroke crank rotational thrust and ring momentum. These conditions create out-of-round, tapered bores. 2" to 6" range suits most motorcycle and automotive engines. 1-year mfr's. warranty.
NOTE: You'll find locating pin #1 pre-inserted in the tool; pin #11 is not required and therefore not included.

Just wanna say this absolutely transformed me learning how to do this on my 1968 Norton Commando as I wanted to double check my piston to bore measurement thanks for taking the time to make this

Cheers buddy, everyone on youtube is taking a different approach for using the dial indicator, I thin by knowing the spec for the bore size this way is the easiest, thanks, great video

As you put that gauge in the micrometer rock it back and forth and look for the shortest distance. Then, go to the area you want to measure in the cylinder and again, carefully rock the unit back and forth along the axis. Look for the shortest measurement.

Did anyone else feel like he said "freedom" sarcastically? Feels like he hates Standard American English units, and wishes everyone would just switch to metric already!

Those red-coats can keep their metric system. You're questioning a red, white, and blue-blooded Murican', here, partner. That ain't right where I'm from. 🤠🥇💪
