Looking at a piece of rough Koroit opal I might slice tomorrow -

I was planning on digging tomorrow, but given that it’s forecast to be sunny and relatively warm and I’m curious about what’s inside some of this recently harvested rough, I might stay on the surface and do some slicing.
The piece that’s shown in this video looks much more interesting and colorful in person. The video doesn’t do it justice.
